Rustieke isolatie in de buurt van Capitol Reef National Park

Afgelegen, maar toch dichtbij voorzieningen. Nieuw bijgewerkte woning op 6. 7 hectare vlak bij Highway 24. Slechts 4 minuten ten westen van Torrey restaurants en andere diensten. Omgeven door open ruimte met een spectaculair uitzicht op Thousand Lake Mountain, Boulder Mountain en de Henry Mountains. Naaste buur is meer dan een mijl afstand! Er is een vuurplaats en een houtskoolgrill wanneer de drang toeslaat om buiten te koken of gewoon om warm te blijven bij een vuur onder de sterrenhemel. Geen buren = geen licht = geweldige sterrenkijken. Geweldige foto's in alle richtingen ook!

Lichte, open keuken en eethoek. Fornuis en heteluchtoven zijn ouder, maar hebben gemakkelijk alles gekookt om Thanksgiving-diners voor 10 te organiseren.

Geweldig voor kinderen met veel ruimte, speelgoed en een tafeltennistafel in de speelkamer. Oudere stereo (leer uw kinderen wat cassettebandjes zijn!) en nieuwe 48 "tv plus dvd-speler (we hebben ook een VHS-speler en een aantal tapes, voor meer geschiedenislessen). De antieke tv en radio in de woonkamer werken niet, maar kunnen ook bijdragen aan de geschiedenisles.

Geweldige fiets- of ATV-ritten, natuurwandelingen en wandelpaden lopen de voordeur uit (verbazingwekkende 17 mijl racefietslus onder de Cockscomb of ~ 12 mijl looplus op de oude dumpweg), en natuurlijk Capitol Reef National Park en vele vele andere natuurlijke wonderen zijn gemakkelijk te bereiken met een korte rit. De fietslus was de laatste 2 ronden van de Tour of Utah-etappe in 2016.

Torrey heeft zowel seizoensgebonden als het hele jaar door restaurants binnen 2 mijl. Goede pizza, hamburgers, zuidwestelijk eten allemaal binnen een korte rit.

Ontspan en laat ons huis uw thuisbasis zijn om enkele van de natuurlijke wonderen van Wayne County te waarderen.

Amazing place. This was our second time staying here and we loved it just as much. The host could not be nicer, have better communication and flexibility. They were very accommodating when I messed up on the reservation. The area has so much to offer! We will definitely make this an annual thing if we can!!

UTAZ IPA Tour 2025

Old retired guys out on an adventure to see the many sights in the area. The house was great, had a bit of trouble getting into the key lock, but the owner answered the call, and we got in easily. Had everything we needed, very comfortable. Loved that there were no neighbors close by.

Such a wonderful property. It's just like it sounds... you have no neightbors and a wonderful seclusion. The property has magnficent views on all sides. The night skies are incredible! Great Getaway Spot!

This property is just what we were looking for. It is centrally located to some beautiful hikes and drives, it had an amazing retro decor (with cassette tapes), and was well stocked. They had food bowls for the furry friends and a great yard for exploring and walking the dogs. Thank you so much for letting us stay here, I am sure we will be back again!

Unbeatable location

Absolutely gorgeous location, stunning views in every direction, feels like you’re miles from anyone else. We came for stargazing and the night sky was incredible. We loved the huge deck and comfy patio furniture - we sat outside for hours. We did a couple short scenic drives but mostly we didn’t want to leave! Everything was so comfortable … kitchen was clean and roomy with new appliances, Wi-Fi was as good as home (we had to do a bit of work during our stay), nice clean bathrooms, hot showers, plenty of blankets and towels, one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. Torrey was so fun as well, we loved Etta Place Cider, and Hunt and Gather restaurant was phenomenal. We got coffee from Shooke and Dark Sky and both were great. From feeling like you’re living in total isolation, to gourmet food 5 minutes away 😋 Hope to be back soon!

We loved this property! It was cozy, clean, and perfect for our family (our 9, 7, and 2 year old kids loved it.) It felt like home: clean and welcoming, but well worn (in the best ways.) We were just a few minutes from Capitol Reef, which was beautiful. And the restaurants in Torrey were great. While we were at the house we played ping pong, watched movies, laid out on the patio to watch the stars, cooked, grilled, and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Sean was helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Family reunion trip

This was the perfect property us to attend a large family reunion in nearby Lyman, UT. We had three elderly couples and a couple of adult children get together. The house is not fancy, but it had everything we needed. The best part is how isolated it sits from neighbors. We loved sitting out on the deck in the evening until it was really dark. The night sky was amazing without any light pollution. We were able to Capital Reef National Park, Boulder Mountain and other local hiking locations. Sean was a great host. Perfect place to use as a base camp to explore some of the most stunning natural beauty in Utah.

Not just an oasis, it’s a gem!

Six of us friends enjoyed our visit to Capitol Reef National Park so much, thanks for the comfort and convenience of this house provided us. The owner has stocked the house more than my own home. Rustic charmer with great views

This home was perfect for our multi-generational group aged from 13-82. The location near Capitol Reef and Torrey made it a perfect launching point for exploring Utah’s parks. The beds were all comfortable and we were able to rest easy after our days of hiking and exploring. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The game room was great for our teens. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The views from the property are phenomenal and the area gave us plenty of options for dining and adventure.

Quiet home on a beautiful setting

We loved our stay at this home. Remote and beautiful but with easy access to Capitol Reef National Park. Well stocked and comfortable. The deck was especially wonderful. We sat outside a lot and enjoyed the beauty and the quiet. We were warned that GPS wouldn’t work and it was a little hard to find, but the owner was immediately responsive when I called and then it was easy. I highly recommend this rental. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Kitchen and basement like new, other areas of home rustic/dated, but comfortable. We had everything we needed to satisfy family members from 3 years old to 72. Night sky was unbelievable! Plenty of room to roam and explore on site. Beautiful deck and kitchen. We enjoyed every day.
