'Booked last minute. Wasn’t sure what to expect. It was great! Nice friendly welcome, good size family room, lots of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits in the room. Located just a 5 minute stroll to centre of Thirsk. Excellent breakfast in the morning was the icing on the cake. Would have no hesitation in recommending to others. '

'Really nice couple of nights in the White Swan. Staff all lovely and friendly, nothing was an issue. Room all clean and fresh. Only one thing was the bed was too soft for us but everyone is different. Food was beautiful, limited menu and quite pricey but very nice. Parking was a bit limited. Couldn’t get parked at first. Overall I would definitely recommend.'
