'Quirky decor, comfortable room with great facilities. Breakfast was excellent, great choice, cooked to order and filled us up all day! Had sandwiches off lunch menu which were great value for money. Also ate in the restaurant at night, brilliant service and superb food. Hotel very convenient for walking to beach. Would highly recommend walking along the valley, lovely scenery. 'Took payment out of my account without confirmation of booking, no reminder or email, just rang me on the same night to ask what time I was checking in. Then took payment of £305 out of my account, tried to call them direct on Saturday and no response Absolutely ridiculous.'

'Staff were great, the hotel looked stunning and the grounds were amazing. The breakfast was delicious too. The room we had was in the attic so I kept hitting my head, the main light in the room was above the doorway which was around a corner so didn’t really help at all. There was water and hair in the bottom of the shower when we arrived as if someone had only just had a shower. There were patches of damp in the room around the window and on the ceiling.'
