Family Cabin Retreat, Hot Tub, Game Room and More!

Welcome to the Tehachapi Cabin as seen on HGTV ! This professionally interior-designed cabin is surrounded by 18 acres in the Tehachapi Mountains. This private retreat is great for families, family reunions, retreats, and larger groups. The cabin has large wrap-around porches with outdoor dining options overlooking the gardens. The second story also has a balcony off the master bedroom to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the deer walk by. The toilets have heated seats & bidets.
As you enter the cabin you walk through a spacious mudroom and then into a cozy living room with a forest mural, swing chairs and a large leather couch to snuggle up and watch movies on the smart TV. Off of the living room is the great room where you are greeted with 30 foot ceilings & a large wood burning stove. Inside the great room is the game room that includes pop a shot basketball, chess, wall checkers, darts, tic tac toe and many other games to keep you entertained during your stay. We also have board games and books on display to use at your leisure.

There are a total of 4 bedrooms and two full bathrooms with showers. The upstairs bathroom has a shower and a bath tub. Each bedroom has a fun theme. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs. Two of the bedrooms each have a King bed. The other room is a bunk room that sleeps 4 with XL twin beds that will fit kids and or adults as well. The downstairs bedroom is a camp-themed bedroom with queen bunk beds and a XL twin bed.

The kitchen is a chef's kitchen equipped with a large commercial Viking Oven with 6 burners, a griddle & double ovens. The kitchen is great for cooking for large groups. We have a large island for prepping food , two kitchen sinks & a coffee and tea station with a Keurig, a traditional coffee pot and an electric grinder if you want to bring your coffee. We have indoor AND outdoor seating for dining for 12 people. We have a fully stocked kitchen and a ton of outdoor amenities.

The owners of the cabin have a daughter with special needs so the house is autism friendly. Every door that leads outside has an extra lock latch at the top of the doors including the French doors for kids who may run or wander (elopement) to help you feel safe during your stay. The colors of the walls in the cabin are painted to be calming and not trigger unwanted emotional reactions from kids on the spectrum. The swing chairs in the living room help with sensory issues and most rooms in the cabin have an extra light option to choose less light if the lights are too bright. We also have toys for all ages including toys for stimming.

The Cabin comes with a hot tub, and outdoor gas fire pit with 12 Adirondack chairs for roasting marshmallows, star gazing & sharing stories by the camp fire at night. We have tons of outdoor amenities including an outdoor ninja warrior obstacle course, a play structure for kids to climb on and that lights up at night, an outdoor kids trampoline with a safety net, axe throwing, a basketball court, and more. This place is magical to make memories with family & friends.
