'The lady who greeted us and bar staff were very polite and friendly. Food was excellent. Room were ok, not in our opinion boutique, but quirky.Yes the beds are very squeaky. Rooms could possibly could benefit from a little TLC. Saying that the price and location to Bicester village was the reason we booked.The only other thing is the confusion over breakfast included. This could be an error of the hotel or the website. Nether the less, breakfast is not included. '

'Free parking OK Paid for large breakfast but suspect that I only received a standard one. Mentioned this to the member of staff and was told that it was a new chef on. No other apology. A due to a long wait, a customer who ordered two poached eggs on toast got up and left without receiving his order. Restaurant not busy. Hotel was in centre of town so easy to meet up with friends for dinner in town. No cereal with breakfast. Somme staff did not appear to know what they were doing.'

'Easy to find and a good location as it’s near not far from M40 or to Bicester Village and train station ( the latter being an approx 10 minute drive). The staff were nice and the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was nice although the shower heads shot out water in random directions which was a bit annoying. 'Due to delays late at the hotel. Phoned to reserve for dinner at 8 pm; not possible agreed with 8.15. Normallly een good sign when it is that busy. When arriving at the hotel no one at the reception. Waiter told us to wait. It took 15 minutes. Reception needed creditcard which I did not understand as we paid in advance. Felt treated as if we were criminals. Went to restaurant where we got the most unattractive table in a almost empty restaurant. Menu very limited and overpriced. As we had to...

'Clean room, polite and helpful staff. The option to leave luggage on the day of departure. A few things were not quite right in the rooms but we weren't paying to dollar, so we thought it was good value overall. Just got to be ok with lots of steps. Also definitely no breakfast available. Wetherspoons close by though.'

'Heeft maar één voordeel, hotel staat midden in het centrum, zo erg dichtbij zelfs dat je alleen van middernacht tot 06.00 uur ochtends niet uit je bed getrild word door het weg rijden van de vele bussen van het station wat achter uit hotel bevind. Donderdagavond tot zondags heel veel geluidsoverlast van de bar van beneden, vind het echt geen drie sterren waard daardoor.'

'Fijn hotel. Hoofdgebouw is een oude pub/restaurant. Kamers zijn in bijgebouw. Prima kamers, bed en badkamer met inloopdouche. Geen airco maar wel een ventilator. Ontbijt is prima; echt Engels zelfs met blackpudding (als je daar van houdt). Omgeving is leuk om te fietsen. Redelijk dicht bij Oxford (10 mls). Mooi oud paleis (Blenheim) op 4 km.
