Casa Taj is een prachtig strandhuis in Spaanse koloniale stijl met prachtige architectuur van binnen en van buiten. Grote ramen, smeedijzeren accenten, prachtig steen- en tegelwerk, rijke sierlijsten met dubbele kroon, graniet en andere mooie materialen vormen het interieur van dit prachtige toevluchtsoord. Versierd met nauwgezette aandacht voor detail in de Spaanse koloniale stijl, biedt dit elegante toevluchtsoord aan het strand met 9 slaapkamers en 9 ½ badkamers plaats voor maximaal 26 gasten in meer dan 8.200 vierkante meter aan binnenruimte.
De woonkamer heeft grote erkers die uitkijken op de royale veranda en uitkijken op een spectaculair uitzicht op de oceaan. Er is ook een uitnodigende thuisbioscoop met houten panelen met zachte lederen stoelen en een 63-inch breedbeeld-tv met een selectie films voor elke leeftijdsgroep en een bibliotheek met een uitgebreide selectie boeken.
Met 8.200 vierkante voet aan binnenruimte, beschikt het huis over beveiligingskluizen in alle slaapkamers, een entertainmentbioscoop, een royale eethoek, een zitgedeelte, een professionele chef's keuken, een grote woonkamer en royale gangen. Veel ruimte is een belangrijk element van de atmosfeer en de ruimte zal uw zintuigen prikkelen om grondig te genieten van dit landhuis aan zee.
Gasten slapen comfortabel in 9 slaapkamers met 9 volledige en 2 halve badkamers. Het huis is geschikt voor maximaal 26 gasten met behulp van Four Futons. Alle slaapkamers zijn individueel voorzien van airconditioning. De woonkeuken, met marmeren werkbladen, heeft een ontbijtbar en is volledig uitgerust met moderne apparatuur. Het ontbijthoek is ook een heerlijke plek om van het uitzicht te genieten en de beschikbare chef-kok kan van maandag tot en met zaterdag heerlijke lokale maaltijden serveren. Twee maaltijden per dag zijn inbegrepen in uw verblijf, met extra eten. Dagelijkse schoonmaakservice en meer zullen uw verwachtingen voor luxe overtreffen en u toestaan om te ontspannen en te genieten van uw vakantie.
In combinatie met de klassieke Spaanse koloniale architectuur biedt Casa Taj 2000 vierkante meter overdekte balkons, die rondom het huis liggen, met veel zitplaatsen. Hier kunt u echt ontspannen in deze opmerkelijke ruimte aan de Pacifische kust en genieten van de kleurrijke avondzonsondergangen. Een decadent terras bij het zwembad met comfortabele ligstoelen grenst aan een zwembad in lagunestijl en biedt de perfecte plek om te rusten, te genieten van de zon en te genieten van de pracht van Costa Rica. Outdoor voorzieningen verbeteren de sfeer echt, door het te voorzien van leuke elementen, zoals kajaks voor uw gebruik. Er is ook het gemak van een nieuwe gasgrill en een buitenkeuken. Een nacht bewaker is aanwezig en aanwezig tijdens de avond / nacht uren, buiten het huis.

All around amazing

We brought 17 people to this beautiful location. The staff was an absolute delight. They were easy to work with. The concierge did all the leg work and responded to all my questions within 12 hours. The house is all that it says and more. The location is great in regards to getting around, I recommend golf carts for the short travels to the grocery and marina. I would definitely come back to this house!

So much better than we could have ever hoped for!

This property was amazing. wonderful facilities, plenty of room, gathering places, sunset views! It was painful to leave! Gustav and Moises were amazing in the kitchen. The cleaners were like elves cleaning the space around us. The staff was always there to help. Concierge was amazing as well. Setting up our trips, making last minute changes - service with a smile. Beautiful

We held our yoga retreat here, and everyone had an amazing time. Plenty of beds, and the house was beautiful. The Chefs were amazing and the cleaning ladies were very nice. It was a GREAT surprise when a lady came by, right after we arrived, stating that they offer massages out on the balcony and gave us their business card. Needless to say some got a massage Mon Wed and Fri. They were great! Highly recommend this home!

Simply Amazing!

The house, the property, and especially the staff, were all beyond expectations! The house is absolutely stunning. All of the rooms were exceptional, and we had plenty of room for our party of 18. The pool area had more than enough seating. The beach was beautiful and just beyond the pool. Again, the entire staff provided such a fantastic experience, and we cannot thank them enough!

Fabulous Trip

We had a wonderful stay. Food was amazing and cheaper than expected (maybe because we don’t drink alcohol?). Had a huge family there - our 7 children with 3 spouses & a girlfriend, 3 granddaughters, plus my sister-in-law with her three kids and my husband’s parents. (Babies, toddler, kids, teens, young adult, all the way to 80 year olds!) There was plenty of space that we didn’t feel like we were tripping over each other. My kids say this is their favorite vacation ever, and they are comparing to Hawaiian vacations, all inclusive resorts, and European cruises. Some highlights and tips: -We loved having a private pool - At the time of year we were there the beach at the house was not busy. It is a nice beach with small to medium waves. Dark sand, and BEAUTIFUL! -I would recommend getting the golf carts. -We booked excursions through the concierge. They may be more expensive this way, (I didn’t check) but it provided a seamless experience -We got massages on the deck! 10/10 experience! -The housekeeping staff is excellent!! We WAY over packed because they did our laundry every day so I didn’t need to bring as much clothing as I did -I have celiac and Gustavo and Moises were WONDERFUL about making things that I could eat along with my family who don’t have to eat gluten free. We celebrated birthdays and they brought candles for the cake. 5 star meals. -Moises is a fabulous bartender (mock tails for us of course!) -I would go back in a heartbeat!

Best vacation home ever!

This property is amazing! Incredible awesome views including the best sunsets ever! Rooms were perfect for large groups/families. The bathrooms were fully stocked with towels, shampoo and shower gel. Outdoor space was our favorite place to be. Steps away from the ocean. You can spend your time kayaking, paddleboarding or just lounging in the water. Waves are great for body surfing only; which makes the beach perfect for families. Then go back to the pool for a cocktail. Or you can walk to Hemingway's for a drink and some snacks. I don't think we spent much time inside except to sleep. And sleeping to the sound of the waves was so peaceful. But the absolute best part of this property is the amazing STAFF! Gustavo, the cook, made memorable meals and was so accommodating. We had a gluten free person, a peanut allergy person and someone who hated raw onions. Gustavo and Moises went out of their way to make special meals if need be. They even made a separate bowl of Pico de Gallo without onions! Beatrice was amazing. She made a delicious lunch for us from leftovers the night before. And she went out of her way to care for one of our guests who didn't feel well. The concierge helped booked excursions before the trip and during the trip. Even the excursion staff were great! This was one of the most relaxing trips we've ever taken and we believe it was because of the wonderful staff and the location of the property. Book this place! You won't regret it.

Better than a resort!

We had such a fantastic time at this lovely house in Potrero that my kids still lovingly refer to as “our mansion” - we were treated like royalty for a few days by our masterful chef and lovely cleaning staff, as well as Moises, our bartender. It was very hot when we stayed, and we had a bit of trouble with the AC units, but help came promptly and everything was repaired. I give this property my highest recommendation!

Incredible Week at Casa Taj

Amazing - Book it now! Large home with 3 levels, fit our family of 15 ranging in age from 87 to 14 Months with room to spare. Lots of places to spread out, have your own quiet space, or gather for meals, fun in the bar, pool, balcony and overlooking the ocean. The staff was kind, courteous and the chef made amazing meals we all enjoyed. Great time was had by all, memories that will last a lifetime.

Magical Spring Break

What an unbelievable vacation. Rented Casa Taj with 3 other families for our daughter’s senior spring break. In all we had 18 of us. The pictures do not do the place justice. The property is even more beautiful and spacious the pictures suggest. The pool is wonderful, and the ocean is steps away. However, the house is really not the best part of the place. The staff is what really makes the vacation. Chef Gustavo and his sidekick Moises make 2 unbelievable meals a day. Every morning after breakfast we would plan dinner and breakfast for the next morning. We had a combination of Costa Rican favorites and more typical American fare. All were fabulous. Need cocktail recommendations? Moises can help and make them if you wish. But that’s not all, two maids clean and do laundry daily. Not in the way at all, but if you do see them, they always have a smile. In addition, the grounds and pool deck are cleaned daily. Not that it seems like an unsafe area, but there is even a nighttime security guard. He even pointed out the howler monkey hanging out across the street one night. Book now. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing Villa for a large group

I have been organizing trips for college fraternity brothers for 40 years. We typically have between 7 and 10 attendees each year so we require bedrooms to accommodate each person. Casa Taj was perfect!. 9 Bedrooms and 9 baths, pool with baja ledge, on the beach with an unobstructed view. Perfect for a git away in the rain Forrest with many activates or chill by the pool/beach. The chef, Gustavo and staff were amazing. They have a great menu but will improvise if you bring back fresh fish. We did have AC issues but the property manager was responsive and resolved the issues. I would highly recommend staying at Casa Taj! you will not be dissapointed.

It was our family of 16 vacation. We have always done Cabo or Hawaii for the week of Thanksgiving and decided we would like to visit Costa Rica. No one was disappointed. Casa Taj is incredible! You literally walk out the back door of one of the most beautiful houses I've ever seen onto one of the best beaches I've ever been to. The onsite staff was fantastic, especially the chefs. The staff also took care of all laundry and cleaning every day. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Taj!

Casa Taj exceeds all expectations. There were 16 of us with 8 grandchildren aged 6-11 and everyone loved it. The cook,Gustavo, made 5 star breakfasts and dinners meeting everyone choices and the entire staff are outstanding in their jobs as well as friendliness and support.The pool and beach are child safe and fun for all ages.The concierge Michelle was on call at all times and gave us invaluable suggestions for outings, restaurants and a photographer for a family beach photo(Javier was also great dealing with everyone.All 16 of us highly recommend!

Best Vacation EVER!

When we pulled up to the property I was in utter disbelief! I couldn't have imagined how truly incredible this property was from the pictures. Walking up the grand front entrance stairs made me feel as though I just won the lottery. We arrived shortly before dinner, and the smells coming from the kitchen, as our chef cooked our first meal, sent my mouth watering. Upon arrival, we met our maid, our chef, and his sous chef. There was absolutely nothing that they hadn't thought of to make our stay perfect. There was a daily landscaper who made us an amazing bonfire one evening, cut down coconuts for our drinking pleasure, and made sure everything was ready each day for us to enjoy the pool and beach. All our of meals were delicious and made as requested. One of our travelers was gluten-free, and the chef always went out of his way to make sure his meal was similar to ours, but gluten-free. The chef gave us the receipts, daily, for our food costs, and while higher than what we might pay in the US, it was still very reasonable, and much less expensive than eating out daily. We never seemed to even lift a finger during our week-long stay. The maid did everything daily, including washing and folding all of our laundry (not an easy task since there were 15 of us). If you are looking for a vacation of a lifetime for a large group, this is the place!

Celebration of a Lifetime

It's hard to put into words. I have had best friends that I've stayed in touch with since we first met in Kindergarten - and we all just celebrated our 50th birthday together here at Casa Taj. Casa Taj served up an experience that far exceeded any of our expectations - all 18 of us. The property is beautiful and offers the perfect home base. The amenities, the pool, the beach, close to a few bars and within an hour or so of other cities to visit, waterfalls, golf courses, etc. The property is stunning but is only really 1/3 of the benefits of booking here. The next 1/3 is the Concierge service. Michelle took care of so much for us while we were planning and while were there. She booked us a tee time at Conchal Reserva. What a great course to play. Transportation transfers if needed, Excursion recommendations, setting up massages at the home (which we did 3 days), helping with WiFi needs (can be spotty), helping with air conditioner issues. Neither the WiFi nor the a/c issues took anything from the trip at all. This is just a note that they fix things that may go wrong very quickly. I would lean on the Concierge service heavily before and while you are there. The incredible Final 1/3 of Casa Taj is the staff. Gustavo, the chef, serves up culinary tastes that will WOW you - WOW YOU! Moises, his assistant and bartender made us laugh all the time. The maid and security service was above expectations. A Celebration of a Lifetime! Thank you to Everyone!

Highlights of this property is definitely the view and staff. Our large family visited with all ages. The rooms are spacious with locations matching the listing exactly. The staff made us feel spoiled with fresh coconut water, bon fires, daily breakfast and dinner, and daily maid service. The water is calmer here than other nearby beaches which worked well for the littles. Property management arranged jet skis, massages, and a golf all of which I highly recommend. Food for chef was reasonably priced and paid daily. Food was excellent! He even cooked the fish we caught. We will return to Casa Taj without hesitation!

Amazing Home

We had the absolute best time. The house is so much more amazing in person - which is really saying something. The location right on the beach is beautiful and it's just a two minute golf cart ride into town. We loved how chill and peaceful the area was. From babies to Grandparents this house was perfect for everyone, I highly recommend it. We also were BEYOND thrilled with Chef Gustavo who was just downright amazing. The staff went above and beyond to support us and make the stay perfect. When one of the babies got sick, the Chef even offered to drive to the urgent care with us so we could follow him and not get lost, this was seriously amazing since sick babies make for stressed out parents and this relieved a lot of worry. We LOVED our stay and will seriously consider returning.

MOST FANTASTIC PLACE ON THE BEACH

We were absolutely blown away with the beautiful home, location and the service we received from Chef Gustavo and Moses. Could not of been any better. Will be back again. We had 21 of of and treated like royalty. Best vacation ever!

Loved our week here!

We had 20 of us for a week. Absolutely loved our stay! Any concerns were addressed immediately, the chef and staff were delightful, plenty of space for all of us to be together, or be alone as we liked. The walkthrough was completely uninformative, but everything else was perfect!

Everything about our stay was beyond our expectations. The chef, Gustavo, made the most delicious meals. The bartender kept our drinks flowing. The housekeepers worked every day in an already clean house, and they did our laundry, which was a pleasant surprise. The pool man gave us fresh coconuts from the trees. The security guard was there but we were never unsafe. The location is directly on a quiet beach. The house is next to the public access, but you would not ever know. The landscaping secludes the house from any passerby. You are only a short walk down the beach to a few fun bars/resteraunts. Book a golf cart for easy travel to the local Merkado for any necessities. The concierge Magui made this trip so enjoyable from start to finish ensuring that we were prepared for our vacation. She scheduled excursions and transportation for anything we needed. She checked on us throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well. If you are second-guessing booking this house, don't. It is everything the description says, and so much more.
