Mooie schone ruime kamer met fraai sanitair. Goede bedden. Life muziek op het terras buiten. Ook 's avonds lekker gegeten in het restaurant (wel tafel reserveren); of je eet in de bar. Er is een mooi zwembad. Maar tot mijn grote spijt was de sauna kapot.
Het ontbijt was uitstekend en zeer uitgebreid.

'First time in Castlebar and found this hotel to be a great location to stay in before my meeting next day.
Whilst i arrived after 7pm and the restaurant kitchen closed at 7pm, I rang the reception and they offered me the choice to pre order a dinner - went for Roast Beef.
On arrival check-in was very swift, my room was warm and comfortable and dinner when served was delicious.
Quiet room with warm shower and great bed - so superb sleep enjoyed.
Breakfast was delicious with nice choices on...

'From the moment we walked in and we were greeted at the front desk, to our breakfasts, to dinner in the resturant the staff made us feel right at home. The rooms themselves were large, very clean, the beds comfortable, and the views of the clew bay amazing. Room service was fast and hot, the laundry service as well was very fast. I would recommend this hotel in a heart beat to anyone. We stayed in many hotels while in Ireland and this one was by far the best. As a side note there is a lot to do...

'The hotel was beautiful - staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great position with view of Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay. Bedroom spacious with cimplimentary water - had a fridge and safe which was great. Bed comfortable esp the pillows. Appreciated that. Highly recommend. '

'Stayed here for a week as a base to mooch around Mayo where my family roots are. Hotel decor is a little tired here and there but that did not affect our enjoyment or not make hotel VFM. Lots of friendly local/Irish staff, which I think helps to add warmth to the atmosphere and is perhaps unusual for this size of hotel - perhaps because of Westport’s size? Food is great.
