Upon walking into the hotel, I noticed an odor of gas and the scent of Curry. The bathroom was old with a stained tub and Duct tape under the sink to cover a damaged wall. This is in room 216.

I can accept an old smelly hotel for one night but the service was horrible, staff were rude. They surprise you with 150$ deposit and it takes days to get it back. I needed an invoice, it was a business trip, asked several times for it, never got it. Room was okay, tv wasn’t working. They have no email and sending an invoice by email looks like something impossible for them.

This hotel is old and depressing. No restaurant or bar on premises. Carpeting is old and musty as are the walls. Has declined tremendously.

Well, the man at the counter was very rude. I booked through the Expedia app. I checked the website for Clinton Inn and there was nothing about leaving $150 deposit until I came to check in My room has blue masking tape around the toilet. The tub is filthy. He put me in the last room on the first floor away from everything can’t get ice on the first floor. You have to go up to the second. .. the man who checked me in, was very, very rude, chewing food as he’s talking to me… Would not even look at me and kept pointing to the sign on the wall that says you have to leave a deposit. he saw that I reserved the room because I never gave him my name so when I reserved it, the total with tax was on my confirmation I am very upset with both Expedia and the Clinton inn. I will never stay here again I better get my $150 deposit back this needs to be corrected. False advertisement No wonder I’m the only one staying at the hotel.

The location pretty good, 40-50 min to NYC Bus Terminal. Clear room with old and almost broken, but usable facilities. Finally I'm satisfied.

The location is great; near enough to NYC with a bus outside the door. The room was cozy and spacious with a comfortable bed. The maid service was very good. The management is not overly consumer friendly. Coffee available but not tea; seems odd since there is no coffee shop or food services in the hotel. My family has stayed there when we have family functions in the area and I personally am happy to do so again.

While the location is great the rooms are in need of renovation. The bathroom had peeling wallpaper and what looked to be water damage. The control for the heat didn’t work and there were bug traps under the heater.
