Goed hotel voor een relax vakantie
Goed hotel met vriendelijk personeel. Dit hotel is vooral voor 60-plussers, maar hierdoor is het zeer rustig wat zeer aangenaam is als je een relax vakantie zoekt. De ligging is ook ideaal, heel veel winkels in de buurt en dicht bij strand. Het eten was altijd lekker en er is een ruim aanbod. Het enige nadeel vond ik de kamer. We hadden gevraagd voor een rookvrije kamer, maar je merkte onmiddellijk een sigarettengeur op die er heel de week is blijven hangen (ondanks verluchten van de kamer). De kamer is ook vrij ouderwets ingericht, maar wordt perfect onderhouden.

Prettig verblijf
Grote rustige kamer, wel wat gedateerd. Onze dochter van 4 vermaakte zich prima, leuk animatieteam. Veel Engelsen die zich niet altijd van hun beste kant laten zien. Eten best goed, diner gevarieerd, ontbijt wat eentonig. Wel aardig prijzig maar dat weet je tijdens de jaarwisseling die wat meer aangekleed had mogen worden.

Hotel La Siesta Tenerife
Dit 4-sterrenhotel is ons inziens geen 4 sterren waard. Met name door het ontbreken van een handdoekenservice voor bij het zwembad. De vloer waarop de zonnebedden stonden, werd niet goed schoon gehouden en de kopjes van de vorige dag stonden nog bij je plekje. Verder was de bediening door de receptionisten niet zoals wij van een 4-sterrenhotel verwachten. Er stonden 2 receptionistes achter de balie en waren/bleven met elkaar in gesprek terwijl wij wat wilden vragen. Toen ik hen verzocht ons te helpen werd er pas gereageerd. De eetzaal was zeer warm van temperatuur en wij voelden geen airco!!

Goede centrale ligging
Dit hotel is ons goed bevallen, ten eerste de centrale ligging, maar wat in vergelijkking met andere vier sterren hotels minder was, dat was het aanbod van de gerechten tijdens het dinee, vaak het zelfde of een beperkte keuze, dit was ook zo bij het ontbijt de keuze aan brood was beperkt, maar verder is het hotel prima bevallen en dit nog, er wordt Nederlands gesproken aan de receptie.

The club Alexandria room was perfect - so spacious with lovely large comfy beds and nicely presented. We had bathrobes and slippers too and a fantastic pool view room. Hotel in a super position, away from noisy areas but within easy walking distance of everything we wa ted. Absolutely loved it.

We stayed at La Siesta for two weeks. We thought the rooms were brilliant, very well appointed and lots of room for the three of us using it! The food in the dining room was very good, lots of choices and generally very good quality. One morning they hd run out of pancakes (it was nearly ten o clock) so fair enough, but one of the lady chefs very kindly made a fresh batch of pancakes for my daughter which was so very kind! The pool area was very good, we could always find a sunbed but it could have been kept a bit cleaner really, that was my only criticism. The toilets for the pool could also have been kept a bit cleaner. The entertainment and children’s club was brilliant! My daughter loved both Camilla and Adde, who expertly ran the children’s activities. She loves doing the arts and crafts every day, getting her face painted every day and going to the kids mini disco. The energy that Camilla and Adde must have used every day was impressive- massive high five to them both!! Their efforts are probably our favourite memories of this hotel now as they clearly worked hard and enjoy their jobs. The bar was well equipped and the staff at the bar and the restaurant clearly worked incredibly hard - we always had the feeling that they were one or two staff members down, especially in the restaurant. Luis (or Antonio as he was sometimes known?!?) was one of our favourites, he always had a smile for Willow! Overall lovely hotel and would recommend for families!

Hotel is in an ideal location, close to beaches, restaurants and shops. Siam Water Park is also fairly close. Two good size pools plus a baby splash area. Entertainment for kids every night early evening and for adults afterwards. Room was big, clean, with fridge, safe and patio doors to balcony. The food was plentiful but aimed at international customers. Dinner had little traditional British food but we always managed to find something. Did not like having to pay extra for the room safe.

First time staying at La Siesta and would definitely recommend it. The location is amazing excellent. Close to everything we needed and cabs all the time if you wanted to get out of the area. The pools were great. Food and drinks were available all day and was nice amount to chose from. The staff were all lovely, reception was helpful, the cleaners were so lovely and the bar and restaurant staff were great. The only things (which are so tiny) that would have made it better was the music round the pool - the same music everyday. That could be changed up. Wifi wasn’t the best but I had data so all good. Great hotel and worth every penny.

Bra hotell i et flott område
Bodde der en uke med venner. De ansatte var hyggelige og rommene var rene. Vi spiste kun frokost der, og denne var meget god. Hadde ingen problemer med å finne solsenger på det fine uteområdet. I tillegg lå hotellet fint til dersom man ønsket å besøke bar-området og likevel langt nok unna til at man ikke ble plaget av støy. Sengene var litt harde sammenlignet med norsk standard, men milevis bedre enn de harde benkene man sover på i Hellas. Vi kommer til å bo på dette hotellet neste gang vi besøker Tenerife.

Enjoyed our week here. Been in other hotels in the area and would definitely return. Themed food was a bit hit and miss but always something to eat. One moan is that empty food trays were rarely filled or replaced. Loved the pool and roof area. Made good use of peaceful adults only roof but no shade or umbrellas there. Used spa pools several times, sauna and steam room. Fantastic! All staff very welcoming and friendly! Thank you.

Service Clients déplorable
Dommage que je ne puisse mettre 0 ! Service client déplorable : suite à une erreur de date de réservation, j’ai tenté à plusieurs reprises de joindre l’établissement pour modifier/annuler la réservation en tardif. Ils m’ont baladé pendant 2 jours en prétextant que le manager n’était pas là (un week-end, bien sûr !) Finalement, le lundi : «désolée madame, trop tard pour annuler, pénalité de 100% du montant de la réservation !!! » Les conditions générales prévoyaient pourtant une pénalité d’1 nuitée seulement pour non-presentation. Des escrocs, sans aucune considération pour les clients. Je ne compte pas en rester là.. Je déconseille fortement.

Vous avez écrit le jour même où vous aviez le billet, il s'agissait donc d'une non-présentation et non d'une annulation.Nous vous avons donné des alternatives car nous n'avons pas de disponibilité pour les dates que vous avez demandées de modifier, nous voulions donc vous aider, mais vous ne vouliez pas modifier le séjour aux options proposées.

Sehr sauber und sehr freundliches Personal. Die Unterkunft ist sehr geeignet für familien mit Kleinkindern. Der Fitnessraum war leider etwas veraltet aber trotzdem noch nutzbar. Beim Buffet gab es täglich eine grosse Auswahl an Speisen. Bitte beachten, dass bei Halbpension noch extra Kosten für die Getränke anfallen während des Mittag oder Abendessen. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Other reviews have brought up a number of issues, so I'll try to address them: Food: Because of the other reviews, we didn't have high hopes, but man, were we wrong. It was fantastic, in our opinion. A variety of options, tasty and fresh. Rooms: Acceptable condition and cleanliness. Others: Nice rooftop terrace. Crowd: Because of the new year, it was a little crowded. There were a lot of kids running around. It is like walking in a British kindergarten. If you have children, you should be fine. Fridge: Yes, you must pay, but they will not charge you if you have a medication. Safe: It is necessary to pay. This large hotel, in my opinion, can make things better. Overall, we had a good time.

Really a family-friendly hotel
Pros: - rooms were good and air-conditioning eapecially pleasent - pool area was superb, super family-friendly and prices at the pool bar were more than reasonanle - shows/activities took children well into account - breakfast was good, not great, but good. With real orange juice and slightlt better coffee it would have been great - location is A++ between two cities grown together over the years (las americas, los cristianos) Cons: - noice from neighbouring UP hotel was really loud between around 10-1130pm. - a lot, A LOT of brits. Though, they made absolutely no disturbance, but just so that you are aware. - late checkout was 11€/hour, we only needed hour after 12 nights of stay. I found it a bit unreasonable. All in all, it's probably hard to find better value for money. We had B&B, so no opinion about lunch or dinner.

Lovely place, staff is really nice. Big hotel so busy at breakfast and swimming pool but ok. I definitely would come back

Reception Jacqueline sehr unfreundlich. Für Badetücher muss bezahlt werden auch wenn nicht gewechselt wurde.
