Desert Mountain Cabin-Grand Views

Relax and enjoy the morning sunrise and sunsets on the porch while gazing at the breathtaking mountain views at 3600 feet in elevation. This cabin sits on 230 acres which makes it peaceful and private and the star gazing is just fabulous.  Another great feature is that this cabin is only .2 miles from Tx Hwy. 118 on a private, well maintained road and is only 8 miles North of Study Butte and a 15 minute drive to the Big Bend National Park entrance.

The cabin has fiber optic wifi and two large split units with AC and heat. It has a queen size luxurious mesquite bed and has an XL twin blow up mattress with bedding for a third guest. I also have his & her robes in case you forget yours. The bedroom has a 50” smart tv which will also oscillate into the kitchen area. The kitchen has full size refrigerator, and stove with oven. It has a regular, filterless drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, mixer, small teapot, microwave and comes completely stocked which includes dishes, cookware, glassware, silverware, knives, cookie sheets and bowls. I do provide regular coffee, decaf coffee and tea. There is an RO system under the kitchen sink which provides filtered water and is perfect for drinking and cooking. This cabin also has a full size washer and dryer which I provide soap, bleach and fabric softener for. You will want to bring your own toiletries. I do provide bar soap, and towels. I have a large fire ring outside and there is also a propane and charcoal grill. You will need to bring firewood. There are a couple of walking sticks inside in case you would like to go an adventure and explore the property. If I do not have something you need it can probably be purchased at the Cottonwood General Store or the Dollar General Store in town.
If you have mobility issues then this space may not be for you since there are steps to climb to entrance and one step from kitchen space to bedroom space.

House Rules that you agree to follow when booking this home:

- No Pets: $500 fine for pets at the cabin.
- No Smoking inside.
- No Events.
- Check in is at 3:00 p.m. - Check out is at 11:00 a.m.
- Please clean your dirty dishes and do not put dirty dishes back on shelves or in cabinets.
- Do not leave the front door open for a long period of time due to bugs and moths.
-Please do not pour grease down the sinks. You can pour it outside
- Do not leave windows open when checking out and lock them back in place.
- Please strip your bedding and place in laundry room.
- No smoking in cabin and no butts on ground. No discharge of firearms without permission. Do not dig up any cactus, pick cactus blooms or take rocks from property. Do not burn if windy.
- Please pour water on campfire after your done burning as winds can increase at any time. ---- -- Please make sure the propane tank on the grill is turned all the way to right which will then be in the “off” mode.
- You can put excess bagged trash in overflow trashcan in back of cabin or in our dumpster located near the cabin.
- Place the cabin key back in lockbox when you checkout.
