In the foothills of the Tarn Mountains, a charming all-wood cottage offering, weather permitting, a beautiful view of the Pyrenees. A 100-square-meter wooden chalet near the owners’ home, self-contained, with a garden and terrace. An ideal location for exploring all the region’s tourist attractions: Albi, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, Cordes-sur-Ciel, a must-see medieval town; Ambialet, with its meandering river and the Tarn Valley; the Arifat waterfalls; the Sidobre region and its granite; the Roquefort caves; the Millau Viaduct.... Closer by, the Bancalié and Razisse lakes and numerous hiking trails. Shaded parking, carport, and a high-amp “Green Up” outlet for charging electric vehicles. Large living area with a sitting area (TV, sofa bed), dining area, fully equipped open kitchen, two bedrooms, each with a private bathroom (shower, toilet) and a 140x190cm bed. Mezzanine with a pull-out sofa, 2 sunrooms with a library and board games. A third pull-out bed (on the mezzanine) can be provided upon request by phone before your arrival for an additional €30 per stay. Shaded bocce court (bocce balls and molki available), ping-pong table. Sheets and towels provided; end-of-stay cleaning service included. Heating is provided by a pellet stove; average consumption is one bag per day in very cold weather. Payment will be made at the end of your stay based on actual consumption at a rate of €7 per bag. An approved electric sub-meter will track the kWh consumed solely for electric vehicle charging. Payment will be due at the end of your stay at a rate of €0.27 per kWh. The cottage is classified as “Fishing Accommodation” by the National Fishing Federation. Lake Bancalié is less than 3 km away, where you’ll find carp (night fishing), game fish, zander, pike, and black bass. Basic fishing gear, a small refrigerator, and a live bait tank are provided on-site. Pets: Only dogs are allowed; cats are not permitted.
