'Fantastic place, charming, quiet, Terry a great host/owner; beautiful location 2.5 km walk to downtown Tairua but pitch dark at night, glad I had a reflector vest Basics in place for cooking, TV has Netflix, prime and good channels. Water across the street, complimentary kayaks and shovels for hot beach ( but I was late getting there) Great base to take off in day trips Definitely my go to should I ever return.'

'It was a wonderful place to take a break during our trip. Being an apartment meant we could relax without being on our bed. Our planned rest and laundry days were wonderful. The apartment had everything we needed.'

'This place grows on you. Evn though it needs some TLC, everything is there. It has a well set up kitchen (apart from a toaster - please note), good wifi, and the beds are comfie. Even get a little veiw of the harbour. So, for the price point its a 5 star kiwi bach.'

'Our stay was great ! The house was cosy and just right for my family and I , there was also a lovely sleep out which is handy . The house it’s self had lovely paintings which my kids loved and made it really feel like a Beach house. '

'Had a fantastic time and magic location. Comfy beds etc. Definitely pleased we bought a 4WD. There were SUPS that looked like they could be used by guests (not locked) - would have bought wetsuits if we had known. Highly recommend if you want to get away from it all!'

'This was a perfect stay for our last couple nights on our holiday! The views we epic! We had everything we needed in this Bach to be comfortable and cook our own meals. The location was easy to find and close to many beautiful beaches and the little breakfast cafe and Lukes kitchen. We were visited by a sweet dog too. Great communication with host to answer and questions we had. Highly recommended staying here!'
