'Lovely spacious room in a very nice farmhouse. Although off the beaten track, Upper Buckton B&B was easy to find and offered a peaceful nights sleep. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the breakfast, cooked to order was superb.'

'This is a real gem of a property. It is clean and well maintained and is in a stunning location with a beautiful beer garden. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant. We were only there for one night but would love to return for a longer stay in the summer. '

'The property was clean, smelled lovely, nicely decorated. The room was spacious, bathroom was nice and big. Good shower. Coffee and tea facilities with easy instructions. Easy access to local shops, cafes, bars and restaurants and local walks. Breakfast was great! I would definitely recommend staying here. '

Caveat on the rooms. Old part of hotel must be 50-100 years old. And rooms show that.
While in the back they extended hotel with another building, where we stayed, these rooms are very modern and new. '

'The host was extremely friendly and flexible when we spoke on the phone to arrange key collection, and the house itself was great. The rooms were large and airy, the surroundings and views were amazing and the hot tub was a perfect addition to the garden. Perfect venue for friends or a family to get together and chill out. Took a couple of wrong turns on the way in though! Some bigger signs would be helpful. '

'We enjoyed a lovely time at the Metropole hotel in Llandrindod Wells. Our room was quiet, clean and spacious. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a swim in the Spa pool which was a wonderful experience. We ate in the Brasserie and enjoyed delicious food and service.
