'I am not typically a bed and breakfast person, but the reviews and location tempted me into booking. I am so glad I did. From checking in with the host, to the quaint and well kept room, to the fabulous location and of course the incredible breakfast - everything was wonderful. Do not hesitate to book here, you absolutely will love it.'

'Mandatory calet (26 dollar and tip) and breakfast was only a 20 usd credit, so i got only coffee and granola with a mini muffin. The rip off definitely. Go somewhere else for a 300 usd room'

The staff went above and beyond to greet us. We also ate at the main restaurant Poplar and the food, decor and service was perfect! 'Positives--free parking, excellent breakfast, very clean, microwave, refrigerator Negatives--no restaurant as advertised--just chips & candy for sale. The reason we chose this hotel was because it had an onsite restaurant. We had to crawl on the floor to get the refrigerator turned on. There was no soap in the bathroom, but a soap dish--the housekeeper didn't have any--we had to go to the front desk for a simple bar of soap???? Fire alarm in the middle of the night left us outside for over...

'The staff is very nice and helpful. The check in and out process was fast. The room was clean and roomy. The bathroom and shower is big. We didnt get a chance to have the continental breakfast. The parking was plentiful. And also pet friendly. I would definitely book this hotel again for my next stay in Charlottesville.'

'The hotel is beautiful - sleek and chic! Great location and stellar staff. The rooftop bar and restaurant is my favorite place in Charlottesville. (The gluten-free pizza is FANTASTIC!). The rooms are nice, but there was mildew on the shower walls the last 2 times we stayed there. The gym has some broken equipment, but that won't stop us from coming back! The best value in the area. '
