'The hotel is set on a beautiful setting in a stunning village of kirtlington. The hotel itself is idyllic to look at from the outside with beautiful stone work. The hotel has a good outdoor seating area and a fantastic restaurant with tasty Indian food. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and make you feel welcome. They are so passionate about their business it really makes your stay that extra special. The rooms are clear tidy and very cosy. '

When arriving at the hotel no one at the reception. Waiter told us to wait. It took 15 minutes. Reception needed creditcard which I did not understand as we paid in advance. 'Came for a short stay had everything we wanted and was able to use the pool, sauna etc without paying any extra. Could have had more staff serving at the bar. Guy behind reception was great the room was clean comfortable and had everything we needed '

'Super cute, like being in your own romantic little bubble in the countryside. We came to watch a friend do a parachute jump at the airfield for charity. It was the perfect place to stay for a night or two. Loved the BBQ, the view through the windows and the way the space was designed. So compact and yet everything was so considered and well designed. 'Fijn hotel. Hoofdgebouw is een oude pub/restaurant. Kamers zijn in bijgebouw. Prima kamers, bed en badkamer met inloopdouche. Geen airco maar wel een ventilator. Ontbijt is prima; echt Engels zelfs met blackpudding (als je daar van houdt). Omgeving is leuk om te fietsen. Redelijk dicht bij Oxford (10 mls). Mooi oud paleis (Blenheim) op 4 km.
