'If you have kids below 18 not ideal as the gym and pool have age limitation. Nothing to do on walking distance.. The hotel itself and rooms are great ... also the dinner options are great. '

'This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. Don't expect too much about the breakfast and the location of the hotel but it is clean and the staff is ok. The private beach is a nice extra.'

'Extremely pleasant and relaxed feeling staying in a Bed & Breakfast that has so much history, (from 1799). We found ourselves imagining what it was like living in that era. and appreciated the architecture and interior decorating style. We loved the “Honor System” and felt safe staying there. Snacks were available in the kitchen area at all times and contributed to the warm and cozy vibe. The staff was very helpful, and breakfast was awesome. We loved the Overnight Blueberry French...

'We checked in at 4:30 around and check in was supposed to be at 3pm but our room was not ready and the systems where down. We could not get out keys until the next day and the staff had to walk us up to the room. The breakfast was terrible. The waffles kept getting burned and did not have a lot of breakfast foods to choose from. Our room was big and that was a plus and there is this one cleaning lady that was so sweet and nice. I had a thing on my door to not bother us we did not need cleaning...

'The location was great— walking distance to the board walk and casinos. The staff were very nice and helpful. We had a late flight on Sunday but they kept our bags safe after check out until we left. The coffee in the morning was good. I thought the bathrooms in the lobby could have been a lot cleaner. The floor in our room could have also been cleaner and the nonslip mat in the shower made me feel ick— like it was harboring bacteria. The neighborhood wasn’t great, but I didn’t feel unsafe....

'This hotel is a wonderful throwback in time. Such a great example of what it would have been like vacationing in AC decades ago. It has old charm with update bathrooms and showers with old themed hardware. No elevator. The room and the overall property was very clean everywhere. As staff was very good. So many antique pieces. Little noisy but it's AC and if your doing it right you won't notice LOL. Overall a great stay. A bonus is the Chelsea pub right next door, open late with food. Such a nice...
