'Fan in the room kept us up all night making noise like it needed to be repaired. The "breakfast" was not a breakfast at all! Simply a cellophane wrapped tiny muffin and coffee.'

'I stay as for an outpatient visit to U Of M hospital. Great location for being downtown and proximity to the hospital facilities. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and ballet service was convenient. Ordered salads to go from the bar, which has a tapas menu. Service was good, but took a while for two salads to be prepared and the salads were OK, but not great.'

'Overall this is a fine, normal Hampton Inn and we had a good stay. We were upgraded to a better room with spa tub, which was pleasant. Room was clean and quiet, bed was comfy. Few little annoying housekeeping glitches- no available cups or glasses in the bathroom or with the coffeemaker- we had to pick up a couple in the breakfast area ourselves. 'This is an old dilapidated hotel. We were assigned to single room when I booked a double. We were given a rejected double room. Unacceptable from dirty windows, non-working wifi that needed attention from the staff, who were just slow to attend to the issue, broken furnitures, TV that needs fixing, shower knobs that is almost coming out of the wall, old AC unit that is noisy as it can get. Just terrible to be in. Requested a room transfer but the desk was firm on not giving into our request. Why...

'I've stayed a few times and have always enjoyed coming back. The staff is great. The hotel itself is a little worn, but a complete remodeling is promised for this year. I will happily stay there again.'
