'The room was clean, and nice. The door coming into room, you could feel small amount of cold air when closed. Location off highway, convenient, but noisy due to traffic. Overall enjoyed the stay.'

'The Vanguard in Ann Arbor went beyond my expectations! The room, lobby, restaurant and staff were exceptional! Our daughter was a student at U of M and we have stayed at many of the on-campus hotels throughout the years. The Vanguard is in a class of its own! I can't wait to stay there again!!! I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to everyone!!!'

It is difficult for service oriented companies to find quality people who can take a suggestion and make it an opportunity to convey the customer’s message was heard and welcomed.'

'Its a great room. My only issue is the bathroom floor is a little slippery but i brought a bath mat from dollar tree. I usually do as so many hotel bathrooms have a slippery floor Very nice manager. I like this place'

'Room fairly clean. Beds comfortable! Several hand sanitizer dispensers in the lobby, coffee area, in/outside gym and by elevator all empty or nonfunctional. Coffee in the lobby available 24/7 was good. Room was fairly noisy with traffic noise from highway and hall noise. Water dispenser in gym but cup dispenser empty. Conveniently located. '

'My bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious. I did read in advance that the kitchens were not stocked- you would have to ask the front desk for supplies like utensils and glasses, which I did. The only thing in the kitchen was a kitchen towel and a small packet of dishwasher detergent. But there wasn't a dishwasher, so cleaning your borrowed kitchen items with dishwasher detergent powder is not exactly normal. They should have little bottles of dish soap. My fridge and freezer were set to...

'It has a huge indoor resort setting with an indoor pool, tables, chairs & lounges. Very nice & fun. It seems to be set up for large gatherings like banquets & company parties. Clean, comfortable with a free hot breakfast. The only negative is the highway road noise right outside the room windows. It is so loud you can hear individual trucks driving by. Suggest you bring ear plugs.'

'I've stayed a few times and have always enjoyed coming back. The staff is great. The hotel itself is a little worn, but a complete remodeling is promised for this year. I will happily stay there again.'
