'The hotel was lovely; the rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. It was very quiet and relaxing. The common rooms were very nice and welcoming. The staff was professional, gracious and friendly. We spent a lovely cocktail hour in the lounge and enjoyed delicious custom cocktails. Dinner and breakfast were first rate! Local foods, creatively prepared. We went for an afternoon hike along the canal, which was easy to access from the property. Highly recommend this property.'

'Our stay was perfect all the way from the initial, warm greeting from Pattra, to the wonderful room, a lovely Thai dinner and, then, a peaceful night’s sleep and an excellent breakfast. 'This is a gem of an inn, located just a stone’s throw from the castle walls. The woman who runs it is a delight; friendly and helpful. The room and bed were comfortable and well stocked with teas and coffees and the like. The food - both dinner and breakfast - were excellent. It’s an older building so expect occasionally creaking floors (although they are carpeted) and low ceilings, but that just adds to the charm. Highly recommended if you can spend a night in Harlech. '
