'The place was very well kept, the staff was wonderful and makes us want to return EXCEPT for the bedding. Our two queen room had two different height beds and both were the old style mattress and box spring. They were worn out, sides broke down, and creaked and cracked at every move. If they replace the bedding I would give it a for sure 5star rating'

'Yes, this is an older property with two floors, no elevator (stairs only) and small bathrooms. But... The staff was great! Breakfast was much better than expected at this level. The room and hotel were well maintained and clean. Location is good. For me and my needs, there were no negatives. This was an exceptional value! Far better than I expected. And, again, the staff was outstanding! I will happily stay here again.'

'Our stay was fine. There was easy check-in. Breakfast was super convenient. The only issue is that, despite being a non-smoking hotel (I think), there's definitely a smoke smell or some other dingy, old smell in the hotel. I'm not sure there's anything that can be done about it.'

'We liked everything about this hotel but two things surprised us and made the stay more expensive than anticipated. First, only paid parking was available and the hotel alerted us to this fact right after we were locked in with no chance for cancellation. Not surprising since the hotel is downtown, but it would have been helpful had the information been more accessible before booking. Second, breakfast was not included and seemed expensive for what you got. That was on us since we did not read...

'No notice on your site or theirs that pool was closed, we purposely booked for a pool & free breakfast. Stayed here years ago and was nice and attentive staff & then we had a nice room, not so much this time, shower know hard to regulate the water had trouble turning g down the hot water, shower dower door handle loose could fall apart. They just said to notify expedia..so I am. I am Marilyn Richardson, the person that booked reservation and paid for it. It was to be a special relaxing time away...
