'Het is een net hotel met vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel,er is voldoende gelegenheid om te parkeren,(gratis). Er zijn zelfs een aantal overdekte parkeerplaatsen. Het hotel ligt aan een grote weg maar daar heb je weinig tot geen last van. Er is ook gratis wifi,deze werkt uitstekend. De kamer ziet er netjes en verzord uit,en het hotel is ongeveer anderhalf jaar geleden volledig opgeknapt. Elk gedeelte van het hotel heeft een eigen keuken die van alle gemakken is voorzien. '

'We paid, as you can see. We turned up around an hour after booking to check in. We were completely ignored by passing staff regardless of the fact that there were four of us standing around with our bags to check in. We eventually got greeted by an abrupt member of staff. Who told us she needed to get someone else to check us in. This other member of staff came around 15 minutes later, so we bought a drink each whilst we were waiting. 'The owners Shaan and Sef are lovely and very welcoming and friendly. They are really happy to let you know of restaurants nearby. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Our room was beautiful. The cooked breakfast was delicious.'

'Comfortable quiet stay part of a longer visit to relatives. Room was cosy and ensuite was good fully functioning with lovely shower. Bed was firm but comfortable ,facilities limited but to an acceptable pricepoint '

'From the moment that we stepped inside, we were all really impressed by the house: it's compact, but therecwas plenty of space for 3 adults (me and 2 grown up kids). The beds were very comfortable and the twin room opens into the conservatory with a view of the garden which makes it feel very light and spacious. 'I always stay at the Lockkeeper when I'm up visiting family. It's clean, comfortable with plenty of parking and excellent wi-fi (I worked from the hotel one day, including video calls). The staff are always welcoming and friendly and I often eat at the pub when I stay. It would be good to have an ashtray by the hotel, the only ashtrays are currently in front of the pub.'

"Pleasantly surprised at how large the room was. While there are a few areas of wear and tear, I found the room to be comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable and even thought this location doesn’t have airco, they do have a fan in room. While small, the fan was sufficient to keep it cool enough for a good nights sleep. We would definitely return to this location, if needed, in the future. No info about breakfast because we didn’t need it but you are conveniently next to a service area so there are options available. You do need to walk to these, it seems, because upon leaving the hotel in our car, the only way we could go was towards the exit to the highway. There is a small fee for parking overnight. "
