'We like this hotel as the location is ideal for both the town centre and the Barbican with its choice of bars and restaurants. We did find a few things that could be improved but nothing that spoilt our stay 1) a bottle of water would be nice in the rooms 2) while our room had a coffee table not in an ideal location to be able to use it for cups as an ample supply of teas and coffees supplied or just to sit around. 3) Breakfast seemed a bit haphazard having to go to different rooms to get what...

'Overall the property was very clean and everything was brand new. Great location and close walk to every where. Only down fall was the kitchen didn't have as many pots and pans if you wanted to cook a family meal. The iron was not working but we got a replacement the next day. The ceiling in the bedroom upstairs was quite low and became quite warm. The property does not have air con except for a fan in the living room. We took an additional fan with us which helped. I would recommend this...

'Everything was good, apart from the coffee at breakfast. Investing in a good coffee machine with decent coffee beans would be a big improvement (I couldn't drink the coffee). Also provide some small espresso cups which many foreign guests would prefer. Despite this small complaint, I would recommend the Hotel. Nioce people, great location, good value.'

'Firs Guesthouse is eenvoudig, maar afgezien van het ontbijt (English breakfast bestaat uit melige worstjes en snoteieren en wordt alleen geserveerd tussen 8-9 uur, weekend 9-10 uur) niets te klagen! Prima ligging, fijne douche en goede bedden.'

'No one came to clean/empty bins etc for the length of our stay. It was very noisy. Constant doors banging in the middle of the night. Some drunk person knocking on the door after 9.30 pm. Reception staff were fine, but had to request clean towels/extra toilet paper.'
