'Esther was fabulous. I likes the ski posters highlighting the father and probably uncles of the owner and their accomplishments. I loved the rooms. The washer/dryer in one frustrated me. I should have googled directions. I appreciated having them available for use. I loved the excellent ingredients used in the food. I liked so many available snacks. I loved the interaction I had with Esther. But for the most part she gave us our privacy and I appreciated that.'

'Good location but not really Downtown. Older building but remodeled. Rooms and bathroom clean. Because it is an older building you hear noises from rooms above '

'Great hotel. Except being on the second floor I could hear everything above me. Walking, getting in and out of the bed, the tv, until 1am on a Sunday. Then again at 3am. If you stay here stay on the third floor.'

'Clean facility, spacious room and shower, super soft sheets, comfy pillows and mattress, surprisingly tasty breakfast with cheesy egg bites. Just 9 min down the road from U of U orthopedic center. You can skip downtown traffic and freeways. A total home run and our go-to choice for U hospital visits going forward. The only negative is the difficulty of pulling out of the parking lot to turn left onto Foothill since there is no signal. But there is at least a wide suicide lane. Great hotel...

'Great hotel, great room, well situated'

'My go to place to stay while in SLC. I didn't appreciate the doubling of my usual rate because it was a busy weekend in SLC.'

'Kitchen was great. Breakfast was good! Only issue was I paid in full over 4 months ago for my stay but on my second day there I was charged a random $500 charge again on my card. The staff working when I noticed it was great and said he refunded it however there is no explanation as to why it happened. I am still waiting for the refund to process to my credit card.'

'Health hazard with walls $156 for a room with goop on the wall that look like blood, and hairs from three parts of a body on the sheets. The blanket had a big stain on it, the bedspread had cigarette Burns and the entire place smells like stalecigarette. The peep hole was just a hole in the door - not appropriate for solo travelers. Well we can correct that with technology'

'This place is fun to go to once in a while as a quick vacay. The rooms are designed in fun themes and and nice ambiance. The downfall is this place needs a good go through. Lots of band aid fixes that should bw taken care of around the building. My room had 5 or 6 2x4s horizontally set up under the bed becuase the slats were broken or bowed all out of place and the joints between the headboards/running and foot boards were loose and wobble/ricketing (😅) Those are easy fixes for the comfort of...

'Started with a tv that didn’t work, no towels, unclean including a big stain on the bedding. The shower didn’t drain and filled up to my knee which was revolting. I was completely disgusted. Told the staff over and over of our concerns and they could have cared less. They didn’t take a dime off the overpriced room either. Everywhere else was booked or I would have left. Absolutely vile. Will never ever stay in one of these properties again.'
