'Our family loves to pick an area and explore. This year we chose the Northwoods of WI. In looking for a place to stay, we came across this unique listing and decided to treat ourselves. Once we got past the open concept restrooms; we enjoyed the relaxing nature, fun amenities like record player, the unchimney, comfy beds, beautiful rooftop views, turtle sightings and sauna. 'I booked online for me, my mom and my daughter. It was supposed to be 2 full size beds when I submitted it, when we arrived there was only 1 king bed. Which eventually it wasn’t the end of the world. We initially called the number and Maureen answered and said she would call and see if someone would switch, but we ended up telling her it was fine. 'The hot water for the shower didn’t get hot and didn’t have enough hot water for two of us to complete a shower this morning. The electrical outlets and the lamps by the bed did not work, which prevented us from reading in bed, which was not great. 'Our first night was great the win picked up Friday and an old cottonwood fell on the owners pontoon motor. The neighbor came over and helped me clean up the driveway, incredible people do exist.
