Casa Isabelita is een gloednieuw, afgezonderd, gezellig en eigentijds huis dat zich in een privégated community op loopafstand van het meer van Arenal bevindt. Dit gezellige huis ligt in een rustige bewaakte gemeenschap, in het midden van een bos. Uitstekende plek voor "aarding" en "boszwemmen". De omgeving zal u helpen ontgiften van uw dag tot dag. Veel van onze gasten noemen een vredige en rustgevende nachtrust. We hebben hetzelfde meegemaakt en waarderen het enorm. We willen dat met u delen. Ga op avontuur en kom thuis in een serene ruimte, weg van de drukte.

Uitgerust met een beveiligingssysteem, gratis WiFi, kabel-tv, AC, volledig uitgeruste keuken, wasmachine / droger, 4 slaapkamers en 5 bedden. Het gebied heeft restaurants, een bank, een tankstation en gemakswinkels. Arenal vulkaan, warmwaterbronnen, Rio Celeste, en zip-voering activiteiten, allemaal binnen 45 tot 90 minuten rijden. Playas (stranden) Del Coco en Hermosa zijn 1,5 uur rijden vanaf de luchthaven Liberia. 2 uur rijden naar Monteverde.

Het moment dat je het huis binnenkomt, is de energie vredig en sereen. We zijn gevestigd in een privécommunity met een bewaker. De gemeenschap is buiten de hoofdweg 142. Het huis ligt op 45 minuten van de toeristische delen van La Fortuna en het heeft meer van een lokale rustige huiselijke gezellige sfeer. Als je de hoofdingang binnenkomt, zul je sommige secties geplaveid en wat op grind of onverhard tegenkomen. Het maakt deel uit van de schoonheid van het gebied. Plan voor een 10 minuten rijden naar het dichtstbijzijnde restaurant, El Corral Steak House in Aguacate (waar het huis is). Rio Piedras, in het westen en Nuevo Arenal, in het oosten, hebben ook verschillende lokale Tico-restaurants. De meeste activiteiten zijn in La Fortuna, op 40 minuten van het huis. Het wilde leven wordt ervaren en gewaardeerd rond het huisbezit en de omgeving. Brulapen en prachtige vogels worden gehoord en gezien in onze achtertuin. De begane grond opent naar een ruime keuken met granieten aanrecht, mooie kasten, moderne apparatuur, keukenkookgerei en alles wat u nodig hebt om familiemaaltijden te bereiden. Het leidingwater is veilig maar we hebben ook een waterfilter toegevoegd. Er is ook een eettafel, een woonkamer met comfortabele banken en een badkamer op deze verdieping. Schone handdoeken en toiletartikelen zijn aanwezig. De douches hebben warm water op aanvraag. Er zijn plafondventilatoren en AC door het hele huis. De bovenverdieping heeft 2 grote slaapkamers en een kleine slaapkamer. De hoofdslaapkamer komt uit op een balkon waar u kunt genieten van uw ochtendkoffie / thee (bij de hand) terwijl u uitkijkt over het uitzicht op het meer en veel verschillende soorten vogels kunt horen en zien, zoals de toekans. Er is ook een tweede badkamer op deze verdieping. De onderste verdieping heeft een 4e slaapkamer, glazen panelen / wanden van plafond tot vloer. De gasten hebben hun volledige voldoening uitgesproken om 's ochtends hun ogen te openen en zich in het midden van het bos te voelen met het groen dat in deze kamer kan worden gewaardeerd. Er is ook een AC-unit op deze verdieping. Het huis biedt plaats aan grote gezinnen tot 8 personen. Een babybox en luchtbedden zijn ook beschikbaar. Gelegen in een rustige familie georiënteerde privé bewaakte gemeenschap. Volledig verbonden met de natuur, bevindt dit huis zich in het midden van een "bosque". Casa Isabelita is een goed onderhouden en schoon huis waar u volledig van uw bezoek kunt genieten. Er zijn verschillende mooie stranden in Guanacaste aan de Pacifische kust. We houden van Playa Tamarindo, Playa Conchal, Playa del Coco en playa Hermosa, die ongeveer 1,5 tot 2 uur ten westen van het huis liggen. Casa Isabelita is 1. 5 uur van (LIR) Liberia luchthaven en 3 uur van SJO (San Jose / Alajuela) luchthaven.
Het gemeenschappelijke overloopzwembad is tot 19:00 uur beschikbaar voor de gasten. Het is toegankelijk door naar de achtertuin van het huis te lopen en het wandelpad op 30 meter van het huis te volgen. Het kan ook met de auto worden bereikt door via het wachthuis te gaan. De jachthaven ligt op ongeveer 500 meter afstand van het huis. 2 grote kajaks zijn gratis beschikbaar voor onze gasten. De community heeft 24 uur beveiliging. Relaxing downtime

This is very much a stay at a family’s home versus a primary rental purpose. It is a drive to everything but you get a lot of beds for the price. We had a very action packed time closer to La Fortuna so this house fit our low key plans. My husband used the sunroom with beautiful views for Work and the rest of us enjoyed the swimming pool and bird-watching.

Relaxing house

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is as pictured, it was clean and easy to check in. Beautiful views and not far from a few yummy restaurants! It’s a bit of a drive to La Fortuna but we did 2 activities (night walk and zipping) at CRParadisio which is close to the house. I would recommend this property!

Beautiful stay!

The property was nice and had a beautiful room to see all the views. They had delicious fruit waiting for us. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, which was a big plus. The staff was very attentive with everything we needed, and the only issue I had was with the stairs. Of course it's impossible to bring gates for the stairs, but on the second story, the opening between the bars were big enough for a little kid to fit through. We stuck a suitcase in front of it, and it did the trick. The rooms had AC and were very comfortable.

Quiet, beautiful location with lots of activities.

Absolutely loved staying here. A lot of house for 2 people but I loved the access we had to different activities. The house was very quiet and Jennie was an amazing host. Javier also helped out a lot! We spent every morning drinking coffee on the patio. The pool is absolutely beautiful at sunset and we loved having access to kayaks. There is good food options all over, but driving is required. Don’t pass up the local fruit and veggie stand in Guadalajara Recommend doing the hanging bridges, which is about 45 minutes away. The pictures on the VRBO post do not do this place justice! Would suggest this place for a multi family trip! Enjoy Costa Rica!

The newly enclosed upstairs balcony was nice for watching the sunsets and storms rolling in! We were only there for a couple of days, but did enjoy a sunny afternoon at the pool in Turtle Cove Yacht Club! Had the whole place to ourselves!

Perfect location

The property is in the perfect location. It overlooks the lake, and it’s the perfect property if you’re looking for peace and quiet. However, la Fortuna isn’t that far from the house if you’re seeking fun and adventure.

Nice accommodations and plenty of space. Good kitchen and plenty of items available for cooking and preparing meals. Was hard to find property at night; however, security guard welcomed us once we made to property and oriented us to the house. Good internet and property location as it is centrally located with a drive to Arenal and La Fortuna.

A nice Arenal location with the lake view

We've spent 3 nights at this location, and it was a good experience. The house itself was clean, and had a lot of things that were Costa Rica specific. The chorreador was a great surprise, and we've brewed a lot of coffee using it. It's close to the lake, and it's a pity that the weather didn't allow us to use it. We've visited Arenal volcano and hot springs using this house as the base, and was not a hard drive (around 40 minutes though) to get there. And being able to see the sunset on the balcony in rocking chairs was something special :) Thanks you for having us there.

Relaxing stay

My family had a nice time in the house. The beds were comfortable and the location was very pretty and easy to reach. The kitchen had everything you need. The owner is very responsive. Also, the water pressure and hot water was really great - high marks for that. We were there during rainy season and due to the high volume of rain, we weren't able to use the pool - but that happened wherever we went. This is a utilitarian home, not one you hang out in. The furnishings are comfortable but not luxurious. The location is about an hour from everything. It is an inexpensive option for staying in a lovely area and close enough to all the activities in the area. At one point I asked how to use the kayaks and within minutes the kayaks were placed in the water and the lifejackets and paddles were prepared for our use by Javier. Very efficient and we felt badly that we ended up not even using them because our other activities lasted longer than expected. The recommendations by the owner for restaurants were spot on. We loved all that we tried.

Mom's 80th birthday trip

It worked perfectly!! It was difficult to tell the room/bed layout online, but it was perfect for us. We had a family of three adults that took the downstairs room/s. And the three couples took the three upstairs rooms. The smaller, upstairs room doesn't have a door, just a curtain, so keep that in mind as far as privacy (and sleeping in!). We were only there 3 nights and 2 full days. We arrived Saturday, checked in and went to the Gingerbread for dinner. Fantastic, as usual! Some of our group went fishing with Grande D on Sunday, then we all went sloth and monkey sight seeing in La Fortuna with Miguel Jimenez Badilla on Monday. Whirlwind trip to Arenal, but all of our first-timers definitely want to return. Maybe we will make it to the swimming pool to hang out or go kayaking down at the lake on our next visit. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home Jennie!!

Bliss!

Our family of 6 had an absolutely wonderful few days here. We love to be away from the crowds and be able to appreciate views and wildlife, this place was perfect for both. As others have written, the birds are abundant and beautiful. The view of the volcano across the lake from the road behind the pool was stunning. We kayaked on the lake which was a lot of fun and went into Arenal a couple of days, the drive across the top of the lake on the 142 is a gorgeous drive. We also used the pool a couple of times in the afternoons. Inside the house is spacious and has lovely comfy beds. If we’re lucky enough to return to the area one day, we would stay here again.

Great Place on a Great Lake

This is a perfect property to enjoy Costa Rica’s fine weather and the many birds in the area. The location is a perfect get away from the everyday life to just sit and be quiet. It’s also located about an hour’s drive from many of the natural parks of CR where either on your own or with a guide you can find the beauty in nature. A trip or several to the Arenal volcano area are a must. The hot springs, the nature trails the butterfly conservatory are all great day trips from Casa Isabelita. The neighborhood is mostly English-speaking residents so if you are looking for an experience immersed in the Tico culture you might check out another location. That said the small town of Aguacate is a very short drive away. Check out the local farmers market on alternate Wednesdays. The El Corral restaurant is a great place for organic CR beef. Quiet days at Casa Isabelita were only interrupted by the songs of birds in the early morning and at evening time. The grounds in Turtle Cove are beautiful and well maintained. If the sound of weed walkers and power trimmers is disturbing to you ask your host to give warning on days when Javier and crew will be grass cutting so you can plan an outing for the day. Our host Jennie was very accommodating. She responded quickly when we had a question or request and was very gracious. We would definitely rent from her again!

Comfortable house

Casa Isabelita provided a very comfortable stay. As well as being well-stocked for any need, the house is nicely decorated. There is a view of Lake Arenal from the front. The owner, Jennie, answered questions within minutes. Javier is onsite to help if needed. Restaurants are near-by. Attractions are less an hour drive. Gas and groceries are near-by.

Jennie is great and her local agent Javier, too. Not a comment we made about property needs was overlooked. All were accommodated promptly. Casa Isabelita is a lovely home. Nestled on the shore of lago arenal in the Turtle Cove development. It’s quiet there, so if you are looking for a vibrant, stay with lots of locals around you, this is not the place. But if a quiet spot to see and hear birds is your heart’s desire, choose Casa Isabelita as a base. From here there are many exciting trips to national parks, nearby towns for shopping for necessities and niceties. Just, wow.

Wow, what a great few days we had here at Casa Isabelita. The peace and serenity was nothing short of spectacular. Breathtaking views at every turn in the community. I probably have about 60 of the same pictures because I just couldn’t stop taking them. Check in was super easy, we were met by Javier to receive the keys and some instruction for navigating the house. From there, Jennie was very responsive and wonderfully helpful. There wasn’t a question that we asked that didn’t get answered. Location is great, you’re about equal distance from most anything you want to do down there. There is a small mini market about 1km up the road on 142, and then a slightly larger market about another 10 minutes further. We were able to get everything we needed from these places without needing to a bigger super market. Eggs, bacon, milk, snacks, beer, toiletries, they had it all. One thing that did catch us off guard was we lost power at night twice, but for no more than 2 minutes. This wasn’t a big deal at all, just throwing it out there so others wouldn’t be surprised. Just something that happens and again was not an issue at all. If you are looking for one of the best massages you’ve ever had, definitely get an appointment with Nina. You won’t be disappointed. I really could go on and on, but folks will just need to see for themselves. Oh and if you like birds, you will love this house even more. Jennie, thank you again for sharing your wonderful place with us. We truly had an amazing week there.

Great house in Paradise

We had a great time here. The house itself was fantastic very comfortable. Location was perfect for us, we took day trips in every direction. Lots to see and do. High light of the property for sure was the birds.

Gorgeous Views

This house was an excellent home base while we explored Costa Rica. It’s perfectly situated between La Fortuna and Monteverde, which made driving to different destinations much easier. The house is clean, spacious, and well appointed. We loved the views and the infinity pool. The homeowner is immensely helpful and responds promptly to all questions. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an Amazing stay

We were a group of 6 friends travelling together for the first time and this home was a perfect fit for us. The views are amazing, the kitchen was lovely, we ate breakfast on the front porch. I highly recommend this home, location is a little off the beaten path, but that's what we wanted. The home was clean and well cared for. We loved it so much we're hoping to go again next year!!

It was our first time in the Arenal region. The location of the house situated in the mountains overlooking the lake allows for fabulous views. We would highly recommend to all. Nice place! Central location.

Great home with orange trees and toucans in the backyard. Decent views of the lake. Other than being quite difficult to find initially, we enjoyed our stay and the hosts were great. The home was clean and had a few items to offer such as chairs and a cooler. The location is great for various outings, quiet and fairly remote which is what we wanted. Overall, great.
