'I love this place. Old-school motor inn next to the Rock River. Peaceful, quiet, no frills, nice staff, affordable. Ditch the bland side-of-the-interstate hotels and go back to your roots. This is the travel America I remember, and it soothed my soul.'

Exceptionall friendly staff, both upon arriving in the evening and departing the next morning. Our only complaint was the coffee was pretty terrible. But not a deal breaker and still give it 5 stars!'

'The room was adequate and the bed was great. Staff upon entering was friendly and efficient. The best kept secret was the breakfast and Mary who makes the breakfast! When we booked this reservation it said continental breakfast. It was a full breakfast buffet and you all should make sure to say that in your ad. Mary did a great job welcoming and asking if everything was ok. Great place to stay!'
