  • This lovely home is situated in a quiet area surrounded by wildlife. It's walking distance to the lake, pool, and playgrounds. Only a few miles away to the Poconos Attractions: Kalahari Indoor Waterpark, Camelback Mountain Adventures, Ski Resorts, Mount Airy Casino Resorts, Poconos Country Farm and much much more.
    You can choose to stay indoors in this lovely home, just sitting around the fireplace is very relaxing. You can also play pool and other games or sit by the bar or just watch a movie on this 75-inch Smart Android TV. Newly installed is a Billards/pool table with TV and sound system. There's an Enclosed Sun Room where you can just sit back and enjoy the fresh breathtaking scenery of nature and wildlife. You may see many wildlife such as deers, foxes, etc. Additionally we recently added a 4 person outdoor inflatable hot tub out in the back thats covered by gazebo for weather elements. You and your family would definitely have a wonderful stay at this Cozy Getaway Home.
    Get out of your busy zone and enjoy the weekend in the Poconos.

Experience was nothing short of amazing. A great place to get away from the city and just relax with nothing but the beautiful sceneries and quiet.The house itself felt cozy and warm like you would see in the movies. Amazing & Unforgettable Stay

Had an amazing stay at this home. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Outback I was able to spot some deers and other wild life which truly was a great experience. The house was nice and clean, and the host was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

4 Day Stay

Great place, we enjoyed our stay very much. The place was cleaned right before we checked in. The fridge smelled like rotten food for the first 3 days. And all the rooms had a strong aroma of vinegar/cleaning smell that would no go away. Not much to do in the area but is a nice getaway for relaxing.

Definitely Coming Back Again

Comfortable

We stayed in January from a Friday night to a Sunday morning and the owner, Ryan, was always flexible with my requests. His phone number was available in the home for ease of communication. There were 8 of us and the 3 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms accommodated us comfortably. Most attractions were within 30 minutes making the location convenient. I would recommend this place to stay.

Beautiful home

We stayed here for a long weekend to go to a family reunion. We were only really in the house to check on the dogs and to sleep. It was very spacious and comfortable. Communication with the host was very good and they were very responsive. The kids especially loved seeing all the deer throughout the neighborhood. At one point they joked they have seem more deer than people. It was a great stay.

AMAZING!

I love this house. It’s perfect for many different styles of friends or families who could stay. The kitchen is stocked with almost everything needed. Breakfast and dinner cooking was a breeze with the appliances and utensils supplied. We had more room than needed, but it was perfect for the quick getaway I needed. The house is so close to everything you could think of. Even to just stay in, play pool, relax by the fire, watch a movie and take a dip in the hottub, is all you need sometimes! 10/10 I would stay here again! Hopefully I can stay here at least once more! The host was even kind enough to respond promptly when I needed help getting the WiFi!

Nice escape from the city

Overall a decent experience, Ryan was very responsive and answered any questions. There was a small issue upon checking in, as the house sits in a gated community and you have to check in at there office (apparently they misplaced the email saying we were coming to check in). They do also charge 12 a day PP to use there pools if you choose to do so. Once we got to the house, it gives a nice homey feeling to it, nestled around nature and lots of deer. The hot tub and many air conditioners are much appreciated. Do note that using to many electronics in the main room upon entry did flip the fuse and we lost power until able to locate the fuse box (happened a few times). Other than that, no complaints. The house is well equipped and stocked. Def a nice way to get away from busy city life and to relax.

Very nice house!

The house was wonderful! The owner had many nice things to make our stay wonderful. Nice very private backyard. Deck and fire pit were great. You can sit out there and watch the deer. There was wood cut for our use. The house was supplied with everything we needed including a grill and propane. It was spacious. We very much enjoyed our stay. The only reason I gave communication and accuracy less than a five is we weren't aware there was a daily charge of $12.00 per person for the pool and lake. We also thought it was walking distance to the lake. It is very close by car, but too far to walk. Lake Tobyanna is only a 15 minute drive with free admission. We did that some of the days. Other days, we just paid for the pool and lake at the community. One fee covers them both which does include use of the kayaks and paddle boats. We also loved going for walks in the neighorhood.

We are a family of 8 that stayed for 5 nights in July. We have been renting homes through VRBO as a family for a number of years. While this wasn't our favorite property, I don't really have anything bad to say about it either. I'll go through the pros and cons.Pros: Kitchen is VERY well stocked with cookware and utensils, probably the best of any property in that aspect.Host is very responsive to any issues or inquiries.Area of home in community is very quiet.Lots of deer and wildlife to watch.Pool table, darts, corn hole and board games for the kids to play when they get bored.A/C unit in every room. Cons:Dishwasher doesn't work very well, but not a big deal.Ceiling in game room leaked after a large storm so we couldn't play pool or utilize that room for a night, but after that no issues.Cleaners could be a little more thorough, there was garbage on the deck from the previous renter and garbage on the floor under the beds. All in all, it was a fine stay. We did worry a little about the upstairs bathroom and potential leaks in the future as it appeared the tiles may have been installed backward and it looks like grout was never applied and didn't look as inviting as the photos, but it's nothing that affected our stay. I will agree with a previous review that some of the work looked a little rushed in the home. Avoid the community lake and pools, not worth it, go elsewhere. Lake was closed due to e-coli. Pool charges 12 per person.
