Relax in the hot tub or the wood fired sauna and enjoy a spectacular view of Jensens Bay & Clayoquot Sound. This beautiful 1 acre rainforest waterfront lot is located right on Jensen's Bay. This 3 bedroom vacation rental home offers en-suite bathrooms and all the comforts of home for up to 6 guests including children.

CedarView House is in a quiet residential area. We have a strictly enforced no groups, parties or late night noise policy.

NOT available for "Special Events" (Weddings, Receptions, Parties, Stags, Stag(ettes), Reunions etc.)

Owner lives in suite above the main house. CedarView guests have private entrance and parking.

Excellent spot! Great view and Quite cozy. We were three couples and it was great to each have our own bathroom. Great amenities (other than the laundry detergent, should be liquid). The men enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. That being said, the place did have a musty smell and could use a proper cleaning. We would stay again!!

Great Stay at a beautiful property

My family and I had a wonderful stay. What a beautiful property! We loved the hot tub, sauna and firepit. All the beds were clean and comfy and we appreciated having the open kitchen/family room to hangout together. 3 bathrooms was a bonus! It looks out onto some beautiful mountains where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee on the deck and its right across the road from the beautiful chesterman beach. We will be back!

Cozy yet spacious

Large comfortably furnished great room with lots of puzzles and games. We enjoyed the hot tub, with its woodland and ocean views. We never heard or saw the upstairs neighbours. A perfect property for families or couples. Nice that all 3 bedrooms were ensuite.

Wonderful winter retreat

We loved our getaway to Tofino over the holidays. The rustic sauna a hot tub and picturesque boardwalk was wonderful on the quiet side of the inlet! Just across the street was the incredible Chesterman beach. Great for storm watching and surfing. The space was well equipped and great to have a bathroom off each bedroom. Great communication with hosts.

Beautiful House and Property in a Great Location

I travelled with my husband and adult children (my son, daughter and her boyfriend). We were very impressed with the house and property. The house has a great table that can easily sit 8 people. The bedrooms all have their own bathroom with showers and the living room has lots of seating with a view of the inlet. The hot tub sits at the end of the deck overlooking the inlet - you can't beat the view! At night the tall trees get misty - it's a great experience. Driving into Tofino takes about 5 minutes - so very quick. You're also close to very beautiful beaches. If we went back - we would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful

We all loved our stay at cedar view in Tofino. We loved the open floor plan, and that we all had our own bathrooms attached to our bedrooms. Loved the big covered porch with all the patio chairs and the hanging chair. The men loved the hot tub and really enjoyed the sauna. The location is a nice close walk to Chesterman beach which is a must for us, less than a 10 min drive into the town of Tofino. Things of note….it would be nice to have towel racks in the bathrooms to hang wet towels, the showers/tub could use a little TLC and someone does live upstairs (not an issue for us). Overall we loved our stay here and would come back to stay in the future. A beautiful property

Perfect place for a family reunion

A well-located, easy-to-find a home with all you need for 3 couples to enjoy time together. The private bedrooms with bathrooms is terrific and the rest of the space is common area. The kitchen is well equipped, everything in working order, and any questions we had were promptly answered. The only thing that surprised us is you actually can't walk onto the beach, but that's ok as the entire area is full of beaches. The view from the hot tub is amazing, especially as the tide comes in and out. We would definitely stay there again.

positives: hot tub and views. Walking distance of South Chesterman beach (15 mins). Negatives: 1. Owner lives upstairs. lots of footstep and toilet flushing noise. 2. EV Charger is shared - owner has 2 EVs so not easily accessible. 3. Sauna - I got carbon monoxide poisoning. I advised the agent who said they'd put a CO monitor in the sauna, but I note the listing has merely been updated to recommend you bring one. I have reached out to Island Health Public Health Medical Officer about this. 4. The property is very tired and has had minimal upkeep. The range hood is broken. Multiple blinds are broken in bedrooms, including the bedroom behind the kitchen where there are automatic lights that go on and off every time someone goes to the upstairs property which shine through a window without a blind. 5. The general feel is of someone who's on the take to maximize the $ from a property in a high worth area, but isn't prepared to invest to make it the luxury property it's allegedly advertised as. There are many better places to rent in Tofino. I'd avoid this one. I presume other reviews are from earlier in its rental time. This is from August 2024.
