'Overall it was great. It would’ve been nice to know that there is no elevator because the apartment is on the 3rd floor and there were a lot of stairs, so if you’re coming with a lot of luggage, it is a struggle. The apartment has a regular bed and a sofa bed, which were pretty comfortable. We did need more sheets and towels during our stay. The location was perfect and the communication with the staff was also very good. '

'We spent five days at this wonderful property. It is like living in an old world palace. Marble and wood floors, antique furniture, and a huge floorplan. The bedroom is very quiet, though the office space is a bit louder, given the square and cafes where students congregate. 'We selected this apartment because of the beautiful pool with great view and to be near Bologna. And that was just like we hoped it to be. We were perfectly welcomed by Alessandro’s son Gregorio. And met Alessandro the next day. He was a perfect host to us. We loved to play with the dog Novi, who was excited to play with the ball in the beautiful Olive Garden. 'The property had a beautiful country setting. It reminded me of an old farmhouse. The outside entertainment area was great. Unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy it due to the mosquitoes. The property owner supplied us with citronella candles but the bugs won! There isn’t any air conditioning including the bedrooms. It was quite war despite the ceiling fans and we couldn’t leave the windows open because of the bugs. It was a nice retreat after being in the busy city of Bologna.'

'The apartment appears to be recently renovated. It is in excellent condition, everything works, and it is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Even so, the kindness of the hosts made our stay great. They greeted us enthusiastically, and provided a map and excellent introduction to Bologna. A great deal of information about Bologna is provided, and it was very welcome. This is a place where we would stay again. The apartment is on the 3d floor. There is a small lift so we didnt need to carry luggage...
