'Our stay was extraordinary. It was our third time in Assisi and we decided to explore this remodeled Palazzo. Centrally located in town and just a few minutes walking from the center plaza. You can walk to all the important sites, stores and restaurants from this property. The staff at the Palazzo treated us so nicely and were so attentive to our every need for our family of 8 (including a baby ) during our 5 day stay. 'Large appartments in a very, very beautiful surrounding. A unique experience to stay in an old castello. Near the apartments are outdoor seats, to sit and read a book, or to have a meal. There is a restaurant in the village (2 minute walk). Also the swimming pool, although being a bit small, has a very beautiful view and enough sunbeds. There are some downsides. 'Wij hadden een luxe kamer geboekt : ruim , prachtig en praktisch ingericht, met domotica en heel goede geruisloze airco. Ruime gratis parking. Enorm groot terrein , rustig , groot en mooi zwembad met voldoende ligzetels, niet druk. Goede ligging van hotel als uitvalsbasis om Umbrie te verkennen. Wij komen hier nog terug.'

'Beautiful, seculded hilltop estate with great view and beautiful grounds. Nice pool. Hosts were warm and inviting and dinner of regional cuisine was good. Rooms are large and relatively sparse with minimal amenities, and beware there is no A/C. Breakfast was simple. They produce award winning olive oil available for purchase.'

'This is a truly unique property in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We stayed in a junior suite and enjoyed the tranquility. We did have a/c in our room, along with a mini fridge and kettle. The service, food and beer were amazing. My only complaint was that the pool was not yet open for use during our stay. However, instead of spending time at the pool as planned, we drove a short distance to the charming town of Assisi. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend getaway at San Biagio and look forward to...
