Love this place. It felt homelike, had plenty of room and the kitchen bench made a great work table which I needed as it was in part a business trip. It was the price of a hotel room but it was an apartment. It would be great for a longer term holiday stay - I only stayed for three nights. It was recommended by a friend so very glad I listened to her.

Inside of apartment was tremendous, and nice and super clean! So looks real nice on all booking websites. Looks as good as any I've stayed on the Gold Coast. Don't expect too much outside the apartment other than dilapidated carports, a driveway and some pot plants. Promised Foxtel, Netflix and a DVD player on TV, but couldn't even get terrestrial TV channels except for channel 9 channels and SBS channels. No Foxtel, Netflix or DVD player were provided!! Sorry, but I usually enjoy watching some movies when I'm away on holiday. Main TV stopped working during stay, called 725 Ruthven guy and he didn't seem too concerned at all and was 'on his way to Pittsworth' and couldn't really be bothered!! Anyways, googled the problem with TV and fixed it, and while I was at it retuned the TV for them... so next guest can at least watch normal TV channels!! Good luck getting Netflix, Foxtel or a DVD player as advertised by 725 Ruthven..? Well anyways, I know these are important issues for some guests so feel I need to raise them. Next time in Toowoomba I'll be staying elsewhere!!

Comfortable two bedroom apartment

We stayed three nights in Toowoomba at the Apartments 725 Ruthven. Our two bedroom apartment was very clean and tidy and ideally situated for our visit. Check-in was interesting as there is no reception or office at that site. The cleaner was able to advise to call the number on the front external sign rather than the one on the booking confirmation sheet. Even though the apartments are on a very busy road, once the windows and doors were closed, they were surprisingly very quiet. The facilities are conveniently located close to shops, restaurants and the University of Southern Qld.

Not bad 2 bedroom apartment.

We arrived later than anticipated and found the accommodation clean and tidy but we booked 2 bedroom and found the 2nd room was locked. Left a message and Amanda did get back to me pretty quickly and came and unlocked the room. The bed was a bit hard but seemed smallish as we are used to a King but I'm sure it was only a double(forgot to measure it) so an upgrade would be an advantage. It's on the highway and can get noisy during the day but the traffic seems to stop around 8/9ish pm and starts again at 6 so we slept quite soundly. Only downside we couldn't log onto the wifi as it wouldn't come up on any of our devices but didn't stay long enough to be a problem just used our own the bit we needed.

Room dirty, n not wot we got showen over net

Room was dirty had to clean the bathroom mirror myself , stuff we needed was locked away in other room, WiFi, austar couldn't connect to WiFi n only basic channels couldn't even relax n watch a movie very disappointed

Weekend getaway

Hotel was very clean, beds were comfortable but the sheets are too hard and noisy when you roll over or move a lot in your sleep, make note to take your own pillow as they were uncomfortable.

Our Experience

Communication was excellent, Amanda was friendly & thorough in her explanation of the system that was in place. No onsite staff. The Hotel was a relaxing place to camp for two nights while attending my sons wedding.

Great bed!

This is excellent, plenty of space and lots of ammenities. Bed very comfortable and heaps of room in fridge which is often lacking. Will definitely stay again!

Great value for the quality

An older style motel that has been newly renovated. It looks pretty basic on the outside but the rooms are amazing! We were very pleasantly surprised by how modern and comfortable the room was and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
