Cute and clean
Cute little bungalow in a nice neighborhood. Home had all the essentials. Nice patio to enjoy the evening. I had my dog with me as we were competing in a dog trial in Topeka and the back side gate did not shut completely. Was able to secure it, this is something that probably should addressed for the safety of pets or even children.

Cute house - will stay again!
This home had a great layout and room sizes were better than anticipated knowing its in an older neighborhood. The living room was very spacious - the kitchen and dining area were nicely layed out. The dogs LOVED the big backyard! We hope to book again when we return for family visits. I greatly appreciated having check in/access information well before we left on this trip - thank you. My only "complaint" - I couldn't find a broom or vacuum to tidy up a bit (we lucked out with nice weather but would track in some leaves, etc).

Adorable house, convenient location
We had a great time staying in this adorable house and especially appreciated the proximity to Capitol Federal Natatorium and the huge, fenced-in backyard for playing with our dog. Being a block from the beautiful Washburn Park was a great bonus!

Watson is a Smart Choice
This is my first time renting a house. It was so cosy. There were little extras that were on site that we didn't have to go out of our way to get, like laudry pods, towels, etc. I told my kids that now we have some decorating ideas for our place! I would stay again. Very sweet host.

Family reunion
We rented for a long weekend and were comfortable throughout our visit. Great communication with the host. Enjoyed the back patio for reading a book and relaxing. Thanks for a great time.

Quiet and Cozy
This property was perfect for our needs. We did not spend much time at the property as we were there to visit our grandkids in Warrensburg, attend two weddings on the weekend and sightsee but when we were this was a nice stop and relax. The bedroom closest to front of house was our choice due to dark and such wonderful mattress like at home. What a awesome welcome. So many nice little touches such as the to go coffee mug to use. Kurig coffee cups. We returned the favor. ;) Warm snuggly blankets. I fell my third day in at one of the stores and got hurt pretty badly so our visit ended up going regrettably, BUT this was the one thing I can say was absolutely best. Your accommodating us 3 hour's before our arrival time frame was so very very appreciative. I am allergic to the cold. I am sure of it now. ;) Thank you again for your very kind hospitality.

There's no place like this home
Our title was playing off the name of their rental company, the yellow brick road rentals. This place was a true gem! Very clean, state-of-the-art kitchen, has a great coffee area, huge backyard, our dogs really enjoyed that! Bedrooms were comfortable comfortable. We would definitely choose to stay here again. we only wish we could have stayed longer. We were traveling across the US going from one location to another and are so glad we found this place!

Comfortable and clean
Nicely remodeled older house. Comfortable beds. Nice big back yard for kids. Large beautiful trees. Lots of extras like dishes and toys for kids and an extra toothbrush that came in handy. We didn't have a problem with this but a lock, high on the basement door, might be nice to keep little ones from venturing down the steep stairs. Also, the front door has only one lock which is opened with a code. We would have felt more comfortable and secure with a secondary lock, or even a chain, that could be fastened from the inside at night.

Cozy little home
This home was very cozy and met our expectations. The decor was nice and the bed I slept in was comfortable. There was a smell in the refrigerator and a bump in the bathroom floor that made a loud noise as the door passed over it that got very annoying. The bathroom door was also very hard to close. Overall it was nice and I would stay again.

Property was adequate for our needs, 2 couples attending concert at TPAC. Easy, keyless access. We stayed on 11/9 and I contacted Brandie through a VRBO message on 11/19 about our damage deposit. She never responded and a phone call yielded a terse, "wait 2 weeks." Today is 11/28, 19 days in and I have not yet received my $1500 damage deposit refund.

VRBO/Homeaway automatically sends the damage deposit back after two weeks. It is never in the hands of the host. Upon our conversation, I was simply attempting to notifying you of that particular detail. The damage deposit is not given to a property owner in anyway, even to hold. We always do our best to help all guests and attend to their needs in anyway possible. As I was trying to communicate to you earlier through our several messages back and forth that I will always attempt to solve any issue, whatever it may be, quickly and promptly. Brandie
