Ascot House suites are stunning and the hosts are lovely. Big comfortable clean rooms with tasteful decor. Ten minute stroll to walk into town (downhill) and plenty of buses available if you don’t fancy walking back up. We had a balcony which was nice - shame about Seascape opposite that really needs tidying up as is an eyesore but I would stay and recommend Ascot House to anyone

We stayed in the Gothic Suite; don't be put off by the name as it is very roomy, comfortable and quiet. Our host, Grace, was extremely attentive and provided us with useful information about the area and the English Riviera in general. A very good place to stay and to explore the hinterland

Excellent! Highly recommended
Lovely B&B in Torquay about 10mins walk to either the town centre or the seafront. We had the Seaview Suite which was on the top floor so there is 3 flights of fairly steep stairs to negotiate but well worth it for the Lovely view from the windows. We were greeted by Grace the owner and she was very welcoming and helpful. The room was very spacious and airy and had a lovely bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. Overall a very nice place to stay. We liked it that much we were lucky to be able to stay a couple of extra nights. Well worth a visit. We will be returning! Thanks Grace 😊 Highly recommended 👌

Great location and comfortable
The accommodation was very conviently located to be able to explore Torquay, getting to the promenade, and also to the surrounding area. We really liked the sea view! We had a warm welcome and really enjoyed the comfortable space in the suite. We were also happy with the covid measures and the eco practices.

Seaview room
Ascot House Hotel... We were amazed with our room (seaview room). Very comfortable and clean with everything you needed. Very chilled and relaxing and peaceful. Host was very friendly and professional who went out her way to accommodate our needs, which was twice. Breakfast could not fault, even wetherspoons couldnt top it, ha ha. Would recommend and deffinately return.

Comfortable stay
Overall a lovely well maintained property, the only thing was we were on the 2nd floor which we found a bit exhausting as we weren’t feeling that well, we should have had a room on first floor but as we couldn’t make it on first night someone else was put in our room which I thought was rubbing it in as we had paid and lost our first night £90 and then although it was supposed to be an upgrade it made things harder for us ?

Great place.
Everything about my stay was perfect. Heather was there to welcome me as soon as I arrived and showed me to my room. The suite was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and very spacious. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

This hotel was lovely we booked the double room with large bathroom , balcony and it had a living room area. It was beautifully designed with loads of room and the bath and bed are huge. The location is good for Torquay harbour and town and also beaches . The only downside for us was the carpark is very steep and our car wears a skirt lol so struggled to get down . The people are friendly and helpful . I would recommend

Heather the owner was lovely and kept us informed with Covid safety before we arrived. She met us for check in and the guesthouse is just lovely. I booked 3 rooms in total for ourselves and other friends and each room had its own style. We stayed in the gothic room (no 2) which had a balcony and outdoor seating. The room had a bathroom with bath and shower attached to the bedroom and a separate lounge which was access to the balcony. Everything was lovely and clean and we had a fridge with tea, coffee, milk. We would definitely stay here again if we was visiting the area. Such a lovely hotel in a central location.

I highly recommend Ascot House Hotel. We stayed in a very clean and nicely furnished suite with a balcony to sit and enjoy the sun. We will definitely book here again. The owners were friendly and helpful.

We went for a short break and couldn’t have had a better stay. Room was good, comfortable and having a seperate seating area helped. The breakfasts were amazing and we’ll definitely be going back.

Clean and comfortable rooms, nice having separate lounge area, disappointing view from balcony so did not use it at all. Good size fridge and tea and coffee facilities . Not easy to get in and out of car park

The suite was tastefully decorated with a separate lounge area, making it feel very homely. Television in both lounge and bedroom. Great shower and comfortable bed.

This is a lovely place and the hosts are very welcoming and happy to help with anything. The breakfast was really good and overall this is great value for money and i would stay here again if i ever needed accommodation in Torquay.

Best Hotel experience I've ever had.....
Terri and Brendon (I think) couldn't of been more helpful. The food was amazing. It's the first time I've ever left a top in a B&B and would strongly recommend Ascot House to anyone. The photo was taken after a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Excellent hotel, hosts and breakfast. Hotel decor is not the norm in that it is not all chrome and plastic in white decor but an antique style best described by me as shabby sheek, which works brilliantly. Met another couple who had visited this hotel 25 times, enough said
