'Super hotel in middle of Dolgellau. Efficiently run by courteous friendly professional staff. We did not eat there but wish we had! Everything as it should be in a good hotel. Plentiful overnight parking in the long stay carpark behind the hotel. Some traffic noise as it is an old building with single glazing but that is to be expected. '

'Beautifull venue, great and very friendly personell. Great room. One minor point, we had a room in the attic and with 30+ and only a ventilator is was very very hot for a long time into the night. But that is the only minor point the staff made up for it in friendlyness and service.'

'I had a lovely few days here, the hotel is in the most stunning location. The room was spotlessly clean, and had all I needed. The owner of the hotel was lovely and very friendly and accommodating e.g. to an early checkout. I ate there one evening and the food was excellent. Breakfast is also very good!'

'Yes, good fresh breakfast, nice to have warmed quality pastries to start the morning and more offered later. Car park is right on the corner of a one-way system so giving a warning of how quickly it comes upon you and W3W would help, otherwise if you realise its there just too late you end up going round the one-way system again!'

'The room was fantastic, spacious with every detail considered. The bed was very comfortable and huge! The bathroom had a separate bath and shower with double sinks. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Definitely worth a visit! I forgot to mention the food, that was delicious too!'

'We stayed at this lovely apartment 19th-23rd February on arrival it was easy to acess and clean we are a family of 4 two teens who’ve both said they’d visit again. The apartment is a five minute walk to the train station and the town and the beach is opposite. Just a shame it weren’t pet friendly! '

'Its very peacefull and quite and clean. Its self catering and shops are bit far so best take extra food and grocery. We stayed in bunglow and they got nice clean kitchen with all the cooking facilities. Rooms are nice but mattress are bit old.View from bunglows are lovely,I ll try to share image. Staff are friendly. All in all 5 stars. Price reflects. '

'Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Ideal location for Fairbourne and surrounding area - you need to go to Dolgellau, Barmouth and try the Precipice Walk and Creggannan Lakes which were lovely walks with stunning views. Nice to get some milk and Welsh cakes which were lovely. Cottage was clean and comfortable, only minor negative was limited information about what to do at check out time, local contacts etc. and there wasn’t much in terms of cleaning equipment apart from a broom so couldn’t do...
