Een warm ontvangst door de eigenaar. Binnen stond een met mand met chocolade, wijn, avocado's, bananen en mango's. Het huis heeft een echte Spaanse inrichting, zeer sfeervol. En buiten rondom het zwembad veel ruimte. Advies om een auto te huren. Lopend naar dorp is prima te doen maar met pittige hoogteverschillen. Wij vonden het een heerlijke plek, heel vrij en een prachtig uitzicht!

Jesús’s house is really wonderful, it’s quite big, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, great living space and kitchen (very well equipped), the pool Área was our most favourite part, large pool and round dining part with an amazing seaview! Jesús is a great host, always willing to help! Unfortunally we had to leave earlier because of the COVID-19 and hè was willing to refund quite a big amount, which of course was really appreciated! Thanks Jesús, we will come back in better days!! Stay save, Huib and friends!!

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in villa Padial van 16 tot 29 april. Al vanaf reservering prettig en goed contact gehad. Ontvangst prima en we werden verrast met flesje wijn, olijfolie en vers fruit. Het is voor ons en onze gasten met recht een home away van huis geweest. Een thuisgevoel en warme en gastvrije ontvangst. We kunnen dit verblijf van harte aanbevelen. mr. Jesus Padial nogmaals hartelijk bedankt voor alles en tot ziens. Gr. Francina

Vriendelijke ontvangst en alles was schoon. Goede bedden. 15 min lopen van het dorp en binnen 5 minuten op de snelweg. Echt een aanrader voor mensen die van wandelen en de zee houden.

Picturesque, beautiful views, amazing outside space with pool and loungers. Watch the sunrise in the morning and view the lights of the mountains at night to the soundtrack of insects. Lovely old house, somewhat rustic, quite dusty. Found en suite to be a little smelly when any toilet is flushed and we had issues with electric cutting out, but host was very helpful and accommodating, the mangoes he grows are absolutely delicious, worth the stay alone!!! Location in the mountains is perfect for relaxing as its an isolated spot. In the mountains so it can get very windy and the road to the property is very narrow but I had an enormous suv not suited, any medium to small size car would have been much better. Family had a great vacation and everyone absolutely loved the pool, even when it rained. Read a review where someone said the village in Competa with the umbrellas is a 7 minute walk, well they must walk at 30 mph! You definitely need a car or some form of transport if you are staying here! Overall its a 7/10 for me but the kids would give it a 10!!

We had a wonderful time in this house, with a precious view and a pool that cooled us down when the sun was shining a lot. We were enjoying our stay very much and would definitely recommend this beautiful house to anyone who is looking for a spacious accommodation and has a car! Maybe bring some mosquito spray ;)

Das Haus ist sehr abgelegen, die Strasse zum Haus ist sehr eng und steil. Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet, man könnte ein paar Sachen ersetzen, wie zum Beispiel die Pfannen, denn die waren fast alle unbrauchbar und die Liegestühle waren auch kaputt und nicht sehr gemütlich. Ohne Auto wäre es kompliziert. Einkaufen, zum Strand, etc. Jesus ist sehr nett, auch seine Mutter, die uns immer wieder frische Früchte vor die Türe gelegt hatte und sogar ein Abschiedsgeschenk. Unsere 2 Golden Retriever haben sich auch wohlgefühlt. Schade, dass an den Stränden Hunde verboten sind. Es hat einen Hundestrand in Torrox und auch in der näheren Umgebung, die sind aber alle sehr schmutzig. da wollten wir nicht hin. Wir sind dann trotzdem mit den Hunden an den Strand in Torrox, aber ein bisschen abgelegen, wo keine Liegestühle waren, hin. Im grossen und ganzem hatten wir keine Probleme mit den Leuten, nur 2 Mal wollten uns Spanier bei der Polizei melden. An der Promenade in Torrox hat es viele Restaurants und bei den meisten konnten wir mit unseren Hunden draussen etwas trinken und essen.

A wonderful week. The family loved the pool & the house. Jesus was the perfect host, a couple of questions were answered immediately. His mother even brought us some delicious grapes. Beautiful views from the outside dining table in the evening In our opinion you do need a car especially in August when the temperature was over 40 degrees. Thank goodness for the air conditioning at night. Can thoroughly recommend this villa for an enjoyable holiday

Wonderful villa with everything you could possibly want. Welcome basket with fruit and wine was an added bonus, thank you very much. The pool was enjoyed by all, a few tiles missing, but no big deal. The owner came over and cleaned the pool and filters. He was very pleasant. You definitely need a CAR here. The hill is a killer for even the fittest. Overall great place, great villa, quiet location. Best for rest and relaxation.

It was the perfect family holiday villa, located inbetween lots of great places to visit for all ages. The kids loved the villa, and the garage space is a great addition for when it was too hot to play outside. Perfect for us adults as well to enjoy a relaxing drink in the evening from the covered seating area, watching the sunset. Would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely time staying at the villa. Reviews have been conflicting in terms of being able to walk into town. We found it perfectly do-able, literally 10 minutes. Granted it was a bit steep but only a short distance. We don't like driving abroad but still managed to get about, taking the bus to Nerja Caves, Frigliana, and to Torrox Costa a couple of times. We found the restaurants in Torrox Pueblo very friendly and good choice, but equally enjoyed using the bbq at the villa in the evenings. The view from the outside dining area is stunning. Having a pool to jump into when it gets a bit hot, day or night, was THE best! And we really appreciated a bag of the most amazing mangoes and grapes I've ever eaten, thanks to Jesus parents! Having a table tennis table in the garage for the more active amongst us was a bonus, personally I preferred to laze around the pool with a cold drink from the outside bar! Overall perfcet holiday if you want to get away from it all, but equally well situated for getting about. Thanks Jesus!

Desde el principio de la reserva muy buena la comunicacion con el propietario y muy bien informados por su parte. La casa esta en una colina a las afueras de las tantas colinas de torrox pueblo ya que, la costa esta a 4km, aunque por algunas cuestas se llega andando al pueblo. Pero, la casa con su zona de terraza con barbacoa, nevera y piscina lo merece. La casa tiene de todo como aparece en las fotos(amplio garaje, 4hab algunas con baño y ac). Sin duda, lo que mejor valoraria es las facilidades que ofrece su propietario y sin necesidad de un check in/out por el sistema numerico de apertura de la casa y su ubicacion cercana para visitar los pueblos tambien magnificos del alrededor. PD: HEMOS DISFRUTADO MUCHO!!MUCHAS GRACIAS

Casa grande la parte de la piscina muy bien y tiene un buen mirador terraza que se ve todo el paisaje y el mar donde hemos estado la mayor parte del tiempo, buena para repetir en otra ocasión.

We stayed here for four glorious weeks in July. Myself, my wife and three children 11, 13 and 15. The Villa is extremely spacious inside and is equiped with everything you could possibly need. The garage is great for keeping the car cool and contains a table tennis table which we got great use out of. The outside pool area is great with outdoor fridge and large shaded seating area. The kids where in the pool until 11 o'clock most nights. The Villa is in a quiet area surrounded by mountains looking down to the sea so is perfect to switch off and relax. However it is still close to the many attractions and towns in the area, such as Nerja which is only a 10 minute drive away. It is a 10 minute walk into the lovely old town of Torrox where you will find small shops and restaurants . The beach is a five minute drive away. Our host Jesus could not have been any more helpful, a true gentleman and the welcome basket and fruit was a lovely touch. We would highly recommend a stay in this wonderful Villa.

We had a fab time at the villa beautiful views and a comfortable villa . We had to contact Jesus a couple of times and we were dealt with quickly and efficiently. We would definitely recommend to have a car as the villa is just a bit far out for walking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay just wish we could have had longer there maybe another time. Thank you for the use of your villa we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend it for future guests

The villa is very traditional inside, the rooms are large and neatly set out . The outside is what we came for a great pool loved the water feature ,Good seating area with fabulous views of the sea and mountains. We had our own car but we did walk to Torrox pueblo . Property pretty much as described in the brochure and more than adequate for a 10 day stay( there was 7 of us). Owner gives great service when required and is easily reached should you need him. A car is a must. Ignore the review that talks about walks to a local village etc, the villa is up a long narrow steep hill that takes massive effort even from the fittest to traverse it. Should you be able then try to find that village spoken about, because we certainly couldn’t. To be fair the Villa description makes no claims of such walks and imaginary villages. So a car is definitely a requirement with Nerja and Torrox Costa and pueblo all within easy reach. Overall a Positive experience and a good time had.
