What a wonderful resort with such a convenient location close to Baunei, Gulf of Orosei. Impresssive amenities and room had AC! We went for half board, which had us set up nicely with dinner buffet and buffet breakfast (included already). Loved the room, the grounds, the amenities, the beach, the infinity pool, the buffet, and the restaurants on the property! We enjoyed tennis everyday (free) and free sailing lessons, which was such a fun experience! Beach and salt water infinity pool were both really nice! There were also other amenities such as fresh water swimming pool, gym, etc. but we ran out of time to enjoy all resort features! Staff was incredibly attentive and very helpful. Stunning resort overall and highly recommend stay for anyone who’s considering this as an option in Sardinia! The resort is 2 hours drive from Cagliari airport or about 2.5 hours from Olbia. However, the drive itself was so beautiful, it was well worth the trip. Walking distance to Arbatax port and 20 min drive from Santa Maria Navaresse port. Highly recommend Sardinia Natural Park Tours, especially Baunei coast tour (Cala Mariolu, Cala Luna, Cala Sisine etc.) P.S. No complaints whatsoever. Must visit and highly recommend stay at resort.

This is a large resort with many amenities. The room itself was basic and clean but in need of an update to the decor. The pool was large and warm and the breakfast was very good.

Confermo che l' Hotel Saraceno,dove ho soggiornato altre volte,e' uno dei migliori resort in Sardegna, insieme alle altre strutture gestite in maniera super professionale dalla famiglia Bovi.Il resort si trova direttamente sulla lunga spiaggia di San Gemiliano e offre un ottimo servizio con ombrelloni e lettini.A pochi metri si trova la bellissima piscina tropicale con idromassaggio e acqua di mare.Curatissimi i giardini con piante tipiche sarde.La stanza assegnataci era grandissima, dotata di ogni comfort,con un grande terrazzo con vista mare.La pulizia e' super accurata sia nella stanza che nelle aree comuni.La ristorazione e' eccellente con un assortito buffet con cibo di qualita'.Il personale si e' confermato molto cortese e professionale.

Wir waren Anfang Juni dort und haben es in vollen Zügen genossen. Die Reisezeit ist absolut zu empfehlen: keine Touristenmassen, weder auf der Insel noch im Hotel und ein angenehmes Klima. Die Hotelanlage ist wahnsinnig schön, top gepflegt und mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Wer mediterrane Blumen/Planzen und Palmen mag, kommt hier total auf seine Kosten. An jeder Ecke ein Fotomotiv :-) Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, verfügen aber dennoch über alles, was man braucht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, extrem diskret und geht vorbildlich mit kleineren Problemen um. Unsere Klimaanlage war defekt und wir konnten noch am selben Abend das Zimmer ohne Probleme wechseln und bekamen sogar einen Gutschein für ein Freigetränk an der Bar. Sehr kundenorientiert und professionell. Das Essen am Buffet ist vielfältig und lecker. Jeden Tag gibt es wechselnde Gerichte, die man per Scannen eines QR Codes am Tisch einsehen kann. Besonders zu empfehlen sind sowohl die Pool-Bar mit tollem Blick auf das Meer und leckeren Speisen als auch die Bar/Terrasse neben dem Speisesaal mit einer tollen Auswahl an Getränken. Wir können das Hotel guten Herzens weiterempfehlen und waren rundum sehr zufrieden.

Fantastic place. Kind staff, nice rooms, comfortable rooms, good facilities. My only comment would be to fix the shower lay out as it is somewhat disturbing to always walk out of the shower with water overflow around the bathroom. Other than this the place is amazing

Arrived late and check in was quite quick. However, I had emailed and messaged a few times to ask about an airport shuttle and never got a reply, had to spend an extra €50 to get here. No kettle or condiments in the room which I would expect for a 4* hotel, had to ask 3 times before I got 1 (although the receptionist did ring through to the bar on the night I arrived and arranged a jug of hot water 😊). Breakfast did not cater for gluten free or vegan options, so had to buy my own plant based yoghurts; they did have soya milk though. If you do not book dinner, you can book this through reception and they did arrange for a GF vegan meal for me. Room not entirely clean, doors, cupboards and skirtings need attention. Unfortunately, weather wasn't so great but can take out kayaks and SUPs free of charge. Bit of a way out so really need a car to get anywhere from here.

Disappointing experience
When we arrived through the large gates down the driveway first impressions were good, the resort is well set with lots of trees to create a pleasant setting. We were early for check-in so went for lunch. The lobster was not good, and when I mentioned this to the waiter he just gave a nervous laugh and cleared our table. When we arrived at our room the first thing we saw was a dirty looking bathroom door, which took us by surprise. We think it’s deliberate as the door appears to be plastic. Overall the room has a grubby sheek appearance. Our biggest complaint is that we booked a Superior Room with sea view, but instead got a standard room with superior sea view. A slight discrepancy in wording so we felt misled. We were told that the room was the best they have. We were disappointed to say the least. The TV, which was tiny, appears to have only 2 channels in English, non of the promised Sky channels worked. The breakfast the next morning was also disappointing, there’s plenty of choice but it’s all rather bland and mediocre in quality. The staff are all pleasant and the view from the room was nice, but overall a middling experience.

Super Aussenanlage, Zimmer könnten renoviert werde
Wunderschöne Anlage, tolle Pools, schöner Strand, schöne Bars Personal teilweise sehr freundlich, doch teilweise auch inkompetent und arrogant; Frühstück okay; Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, v. a. diejenigen im Barbereich haben lautstarke Beschallung bis mindestens Mitternacht, am WE bis 1:00 Uhr nachts. Zimmer weiter oben in der Anlage sind ruhiger, doch dunkel mit muffigem Geruch. Zimmer-Ausstattung: italienisch Basic, nicht mit internationalen 4-Sterne-Hotels vergleichbar. Zum Übernachten und Duschen reicht es.

At the Hotel Club Saraceno guests have free use of the beach with sun beds and umbrella, two swimming pools, one of which is tropical with sea water, and group sports courses on sailing, windsurfing, canoeing. Gefallen hat uns alles, aber am meisten die Art und Weise wie die weitläufige Hotelanlage gebaut wurde, die Kombination von Pflanzen, riesige Granit Steine, Häuser. Alles ist sehr stimmig und geschmackvoll.

The small things that ruin your vacation.
August 2015 , Hotel Club Saraceno is a nice place for families. (not for couples , definitely on August) The facilities are very good, the waterfront was the reason we book this place and it was very satisfying. Unfortunately when you're holiday is in isolated resort, you expect to have an International TV in your room and it was just an Italian TV or German.

Great hotel
We had such a great stay we ended up extending our time at the resort. The rooms and the resort are very well looked after. There is plenty to do as they offer a large selection of water and land sports. The only negative was that the staff were a bit rude at times but I get the idea that they are very over worked so they seem to get flustered at times. But overall a perfect stay :-)

Останавливались с женой в 2-местном номере #12 с видом на море, очень понравилось расположение отеля, наличие русскоговорящего персонала в отеле (отдельное спасибо Диане на рецепшн за предоставление такого классного номера).. Питание отличное (оцениваю по завтракам), ужины не брали ни разу, т.к. за 25 евро на человека обжираться шведским столом не хотелось перед сном. Ужинали в основном либо в Тортоли (5 мин на машине), либо в Арбатаксе (7 мин на машине) в уютном ресторанчике недалеко от порта "Star 2". В целом отель - четкая "четверка"!! Из минусов выделю только два: 1) постельное белье ни разу за 5 дней не поменяли. 2) шезлонги на пляже первые 2 ряда стоят денег и приличных!!! По мне, так грабеж и не справедливо, отелю бы задуматься, может деньги с чего-то другого брать, а не с такого святого)
