We were allocated a room in the gate lodge, the room was Spartan to say the least, it resembled a hospital room.We requested a different room and were allocated a room on the 2nd floor, this was a typical room in a hotel that is in need of upgrading.
Staff were very nice and courteous, breakfast was very good however the evening meals were nothing to write home about. Be Very careful of the car park barrier as it came down when we were walking to the Hotel hitting me on the head Nd my wife in the face, causing a cut and swelling to her top lip and bruising around her eyes, the receptionist was very apologetic and gave us some ice to place on the areas, and by way of apology they gave us an evening meal with a drink for free !!!!!!!!, Not the best if you ask me, would think twice about staying there again
