Dalhousie Castle
"The decorations and atmosphere were lovely and contributed to the castle experience. The drinks and the food are slightly more pricey compared to the city. The room was big and the staff was very friendly. I would totally recommend this property for an escape from the city."

Peebles Hydro Hotel
"Nice location, great facilities but very outdated. The maintenance is poor. No paint left on the outside and several rooms and corridors need updating. The staff is good and do what you expect from this kind of hotel. The swiming pool is old and a bit past its glory. Peebles is a nice place to stay ..."

Cosy cottage located 25 minutes from Edinburgh City Centre
"We had a lovely time in the cottage. Even though there was a problem one night with the alarm, the owners quickly and adequately solved it. The communication was clear and friendly. We very much recommend this cottage."

"Possibly the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I didn’t receive the check in instructions, so on arriving had to spend around an hour trying to figure things out. There are no staff at the property and the phone number on their website is incorrect. Room had no bin, no mirror or tea & coffee facilities. ..."
