'Amazing and very cosy hotel.
It only has 3 rooms but that is the charme of this hotel.
In return you have a very relaxed morning with a good breakfast.
They use fresh ingredients for the breakfast and they don't use sugar.
The thing I liked the most (and I think that is also the nr1 reason to book here) is the amazing view over the Douro valley.
Marco and his wife Ana are very friendly and helpful. They also offer a great full day tour in the Douro valley with amazing lunch!

'Dit was het enige hotel dat werkte met een zelftest, door hun aangeboden trouwens. Verder is het personeel professioneel maar ook hartelijk. Ligging, faciliteiten en service zijn geweldig. Enige kleine obstakel dat wij ervaarden, was dat de zwembadzone beperkt is en kan overweldigd worden als er wat kleine kinderen beginnen te roepen etc. Daaraan kan het hotel zelf niet zoveel doen, tenzij een apart kids bad creëren. Bar en resto hebben inderdaad een beperkt menu, maar pricing en kwaliteit...

'This property was such a wonderful place to stay. We only stayed one night and were very sad about that decision. We wish we would have stayed longer. Upon arrival, we had a tour of the property and the amenities. We had a welcome drink on the terrace. Had I known, I would have booked a tasting and dinner at the property. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of offerings. A true hidden gem! We would stay again if we ever return to the Douro valley.'
'Family run Quinta in the heart of the Douro Valley. Close to train station, but someone will pick you up there. Very homey atmosphere for breakfast and dinners made from family recipes. If we return to the area we will definitely stay here again. Friendly and accommodating.'
