The only snag was the too-heavy duvet; we boiled on the first night! The second night we took the cover off it & slept under that. Good breakfast but we would have preferred to be able to eat at 8.30 instead of 9am.'
'A great starting point to visit Cornwall because the atlactic and southern coast lines as well as the western part of Dartmore National Park are reachable within an our (of so) by car.
Jamaica Inn is sometimes crowded and busy probably because all sorts of people visit it, but the real pub fealing is always present. Staff has not got the time to really get in touch with their customers but they are friendly and always ready to answer to your questions.

Beautiful three course meal by candlelight in a stunning dining room with silver service and a very charming Gentleman who entertained us all after dinner with his talent playing a beautiful big Harp and Grand piano while we enjoyed a cocktail.

We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade and the room was beautiful - huge bed, lovely en suite and high-beamed ceilings.
