U kunt niet dichter bij het water komen dan dit!

Bar Harbor View Cottage is de perfecte plek voor uw volgende reis naar Maine. U zult verrukt zijn wanneer u voor het eerst het prachtige panoramische uitzicht op Acadia National Park en de bergen vanaf ons dek ziet. Zorg ervoor dat je op tijd opstaat voor zonsopgang, want je kunt het boven Cadillac Mountain zien opkomen.

Je kunt dieren in het wild spotten zonder je stoel te verlaten. U kunt adelaars, zeehonden, dolfijnen, herten en elanden zien. Je kunt zelfs onze kajaks over de baai nemen om zeehonden van dichtbij en persoonlijk te zien. Het water bij het huisje wemelt ook van de mosselen.

Kinderen (van alle leeftijden) zijn dol op de overvloed aan platte rotsen langs de kustlijn die perfect zijn om over te slaan en de op maat gemaakte pingpongtafel in de garage.

Het huisje beschikt over vier slaapkamers, waarvan negen slapen, WiFi-toegang, panoramisch uitzicht, een goed gevulde keuken, een garage, voldoende parkeergelegenheid, een tafeltennistafel, verschillende kajaks, een gas grill en een prachtig terras ideaal om te ontspannen.

De begane grond heeft de master king suite met aangrenzende badkamer, een tweede slaapkamer met een queensize bed, keuken, woonkamer, eethoek, den, wasruimte en tweede badkamer. Er is ook een aangebouwde garage. De tweede verdieping biedt twee slaapkamers. Men heeft twee aparte bedden en de andere heeft een queensize bed en een eenpersoonsbed.

We zijn ongeveer 16 mijl van het centrum van Bar Harbor.

perfect location

we really enjoyed staying here! the view of the water and the mountains was breathtaking. just be very careful coming down the driveway - lots of pretty deep potholes when you first start down from the road. just go slow and be aware. we've been to the area many times before, but for some reason on this trip, we enjoyed the gardens in NE Harbor the most. highly recommend this house!!

Arcadia getaway

Loved being right on the water. If you love Beach combing This is the property for you. seals were just offshore during incoming tide. also found the seals hung out on the east side of the island just out in front of this property. There are 6 sea kayaks you can use. Also lifejackets are there to use. Property has big kitchen with everything you can think of. Very well stocked.. looking straight off the deck you’re basically looking at Arcadia national Park. Very short drive. We will be back.

A PEACE of Heaven!

Three generations of my family stayed together in this gorgeous home. Everything you could have wanted or needed they had already thought of and made available. Cooking in? They have everything you need! Cozy night by the fire? Yep, they have you covered. Spectacular views surrounded by peace and quiet. Close enough to everything, but far enough away to be relaxing!

Wonderful cottage, very clean the location was great. It was so quiet. We got to totally relax. We did not have the best weather, lots of fog but even that gave it a calming effect. Had 2 days of some sun, so got to experience it all!

Lovely

We had the loveliest stay! The house had everything we needed and more than plenty space for us all! The third bathroom was a surprise and would be great if you had a larger group. The house can be divided into 4 "wings" (each wing having their own private access bathroom except for one wing) if multiple family units are staying, which is such a nice asset. We stayed over a rainy/snowy weekend in April, and being so close to the ocean was such a delight, with a fire burning in the fireplace each evening. We would visit any time of the year!

Awesome low tides

We loved exploring the beach at low tide. The view from the house and deck are amazing! The house had plenty of space for our family of 4! The host responded to any correspondence sent. The sunrises from the deck are beautiful. The house is in need of updating, decluttering, and a more deep detailed cleaning. While the kitchen had everything we could need in terms of dishes and appliances, there was so much it was overwhelming. Multiple of the same items of almost everything including toasters, blenders, a ton of pots and pans, casserole dishes, Tupperware, and random kitchen gadgets. Half of the items could go and there would still be a fully stocked kitchen, and it would be much less cluttered and easy to navigate.

Awesome view!

Beautiful location with a view of the harbor. It was cold when we were there but could enjoy the view on a clear day. If it had been warmer, we would've enjoyed using the kayaks right off the property. Home had everything we needed. If staying in the off season, check restaurants since many were closed.

Magical

A Christmas Blessing. We spent our holiday by the Ocean and you can’t get any closer than this beautiful home. It is spacious yet cozy. We live in Northern Maine near the Canadian border, so being in Trenton we were able to be near family and had a wonderful Christmas dinner together. This home is stocked extremely well. We will return for sure. Loved it. Precious memories.

Perfect Stay to Get Away

The property is absolutely perfect! It is away from things but oh so close to Ellsworth and Bar Harbor that you can seamlessly switch back and forth from nature to town. The view and wildlife (the seal was a checklist item for us) were outstanding and the fireplace was absolutely amazing when the cold and early dark evening closed in. I would highly recommend a stay at this wonderful house when you are looking for an escape and some tranquil peace.

Wow, what a nice place. Very very well equipped kitchen (even sharp knives!). We enjoyed the fireplace, the view, the quiet area, comfortable bed, the overall look of the place. Was obviously way too big for the two of us, we used only one third of the house!

Excellent ! Our second time at this place. Wish we'd discovered it years ago. So many good things ... the room with the sideboard from the estate of Victoria and Albert's son ... the very fine room arrangement ... peaceful and quiet ... fine views outside ... the games for the kids ... the fireplace, which we used ... Bar Harbor View is still my "Happy Place"

Beautiful property

Incredible views of Acadia while sitting on back porch or on the rocks. Our family loved using the kayaks and relaxing by the water..dinner on deck nightly. Very clean. Kitchen well stocked for cooking.

You can’t beat the location of this house, sitting right on blue Hill Bay looking across to MDI. The house itself is very comfortable, extremely well appointed and quickly feels like a second home. Were signed up for next summer! Location feels very private, but just 15 minutes from Acadia. Perfect vacation spot!

Great time

The view is great. Lots of space inside. Fully stocked kitchen. The kayaks were easy to get in the water and fun to paddle around. Everyone had a great time. 15 mins to Acadia visitors center. 10 mins to food shopping. If you like crab rolls you have to try YU take-out in Hancock.

A great place!

This is a great family place! All is as advertised and commented on by other vacationers. Note the shore is as pictured. Rough and stony! We have 2 grandchildren: 8 and 11: new to kayaking! What a treat that two of the 5 kayaks available were two passenger! My complaint: the cockpits are bit small for us 6’2” 70 yr olds, so…I landed in the water attempting to exit the kayak I was in. All part of the adventure. So well equipped, boots, life jackets, paddles; all added a wonderful dimension to our stay! A small point but..it rained like crazy the morning of our departure and I was able to back our van into the garage for dry packing Wonderful quiet location, not much wave action but a gentle shore and wonderful view! If you are ok with the location, it is a wonderful place! Be ok with the location: 30-40 minutes to the prime locations in Acadia and Bar Harbor, but… away from the madding crowds and near fantastic Lobster Pound Restaurants, Try them all! Spacious, bright, well equipped, great deck and boats! Worth every penny!
