'We are a couple and were making a road trip through several states and had booked a room for 2 nights. The room was so terrible tiny (have never seen this...) you could not even place the suitcases and there was absolutely no ventilation, window could not be opened. The bed was terribly small for 2 people to sleep. I did not sleep at all, having an awful next day. For breakfast there was no toast bread, only bagels already placed on the table the day before, we saw them, how can you accept...

'This is a charming bed and breakfast. Anmenities are high end, so is the service. We stayed in a room circa 1752. The bedding however was more recent and very luxurious.
The grounds are impeccable, with flowers and trimmed hedges everywhere. There are fields and even a little nature trail in the woods on the property.
Its ideally located in Virginia wine country and in proximity to the homes of three past presidents, all of which you can visit.

'Loved it! We were really worn out after a hard hot summer hike in Shenandoa when we arrived, so the hospitality of this hotel along with its ice cold pool, and air conditioned room was greatly appreciated by my wife and I. The Hampton inn at Zion Crossroads highly recommend it to anyone passing through , it's a clean great place with friendly staff.'

We did not stay for the second night and the lady who received us was kind to say she would inquire if we could get a refund. Until today we have not heard anything from her. We are from Europe and have stayed in many many B&B's, this was the worst experience ever. Sad to say."
