North Coast Sanctuary is een exclusief vakantiehuis voor diegenen die op zoek zijn naar een vredige, unieke rustige ervaring waar de schoonheid van kunst, architectuur en natuur het lichaam en de ziel voeden. De stijl en het vakmanschap van dit huis zijn beschreven als een stuk "groen" kunstwerk dat de natuurlijke elementen van hout, glas en leisteen combineert om te harmoniseren met de omringende redwoods en een ongeëvenaard uitzicht op de kust van Trinidad Head tot Arcata en Eureka vanuit vrijwel elke kamer . Het open concept van deze vakantiewoning combineert de luchtige woonkamer, eetkamer en keuken samen. Breng eindeloze, leuke uren door in de woonkamer om met uw vrienden te chatten, een goed boek te lezen of misschien een bordspel te spelen. De goed uitgeruste keuken is gewoon adembenemend. Absolutely stunning, well-appointed home and property. Upon arrival, you're met with sprawling ocean views and windows galore in a private, wooded setting. The kitchen is a chef's dream, so we enjoyed most meals at the house. We left Sanctuary relaxed & rejuvenated - and will definitely be back. Tip: When exploring downtown Trinidad, be sure to stop by Katy's Smokehouse. We bought fresh scallops for our final dinner at the house. The owner shared meticulous instructions on how to prepare them. Best scallops ever!

Spectacular!

Sanctuary House in Trinidad did not disappoint! Gorgeous home and gorgeous view, first of all. But also: comfy bed, great hot tub with a view of the ocean, all the amenities in the kitchen, access to cable TV, many cozy spots to sit inside and out to enjoy the peace. PRIVATE. Quiet. I could go on! We found a couple things broken in the kitchen (for our coffee making!) and the property managers took care of things as quickly as humanly possible! Thank you!!

Much needed respite

Sanctuary House gave us everything we were looking for and more. From the approach, through the entirety of our stay, we were able to fully unwind physically and mentally. The house was exceptionally outfitted and left us wanting for nothing. We absolutely loved our stay. The property management company was wonderful to work with. They graciously and seamlessly accommodated us through an error we made which could have ruined our trip.

Great place to relax and recharge

This is the second time I've been able to stay at this stunning home. It's so beautiful that we resisted the temptation to adventure out each day and instead spend time hanging out and enjoying just being there, cooking, reading and relaxing. The kitchen is absolutely wonderful and so well stocked with the basics and every appliance one might need to prepare gourmet meals. Great beds and beautiful linens. We felt pampered!

Perfect Retreat

After some challenging and difficult times at home on Maui the past year, this home in Trinidad was the perfect place to disconnect and restore. Though it was hard to leave the stunnung home views and gardens, the proximity to amazing hikes and drives made it a perfect “sanctuary” Mahalo for the opportunity. We will be back.

A True “Sanctuary” in Trinidad

I begin with the driveway onto the property, it felt like a secluded area, and the SMELL was wonderfully intoxicating because of all the trees and plants. Being greeted by the water fountain was an excellent greeting, then to see the architecture even more wonderful than the photos can show was a great pleasure, especially since the seascape and landscape could be seen through the back and front windows. Wow! What a fantastic way to enter into a home. Immediately we felt the coziness of this place because of all the decor furniture artwork and comforts of home placed so invitingly. The cleanliness was superb. Thank you for that! Also, thank you for everything being kept up and not one thing being in any way raggedy. One thing that would help with some comfort is an AC, but if not to be, screens on the windows so that we don’t get the little flying bugs. Everything was well stocked. I really felt the luxuriousness of this place with all the fine linens bedding towels robes blankets pillows and throw pillows on the sofas, and the fine furniture bathroom fixtures and sinks and showers and beautiful windows and how they operate. I could keep going, but that gives everything away, experience for yourself, you won’t regret it. Instead you’ll make an excellent memory. We would stay again and again and again . . .

4 days in Dreamland!

This VRBO has rated a "10" for us - we have never had a vacation rated a 10 yet! I have never seen a more beautiful perfect house on a more perfect spot. I hate t write a review full of words like "gorgeous". "beautiful", "peaceful", etc, etc. We were so sad to leave it. We arrived with perfect weather, sunny and with the view of the islands taking our breath away. And after two days the fog rolled in. All we could think of was Robert Frost's poem "Fog" and how apt it was. It was gorgeous and so calm. We decided to take the day off and just enjoy the beauty of the house. My husband was recovering from surgery so it was perfect for us to have a day of quiet. The house was prepared for us, many interesting books, games to play, hot tub. We lacked for nothing. Only issue was that the kitchen was so incredible that it was difficult to decide if we should work and cook something delicious or if we should just relax and go to one of the wonderful restaurants for seafood. Seafood won! I have no suggestion for anything that might need to be improved on. Improvement at this VRBO would be impossible. Thank you for sharing your incredible home with us!

Spectacular

Amazing house with great views. Only thing we did wrong was not booking it for longer. Hot tub under the stars was spectacular. Love the radiant floor heat and the lovely fireplace. Be sure to visit Murphy grocery store just 6 min from the house for great selection of gourmet food and drinks.
