Charming and comfortable
This place is something else! It is everything it claims to be. Comfortable beds, clean, walking distance from the beach and more. My children loved soaking in the hot tub and playing ping pong. This place is very kid friendly. I enjoyed the views a peaceful nights sleep and some much needed relaxation. Thank you to the owners who represented this property accurately! We will definitely be back.

Winter beach vacation
Holiday vacation with daughter’s family. The house has beautiful views of the ocean. Trinidad is a quaint little village with a few restaurants and gift shops. Very close to the redwoods.

We have stayed in many homes in the area and this by far is my favorite! It was immaculate, very modern/updated and the view is spectacular. The location was perfect…walking distance to the beach, market and restaurants. And the check in process with Trinadad Retreats is always so good!!!

Perfect Vacation
This home was perfect for our trip to the Redwoods. It was situated between hiking and Arcata for supplies, restaurants, and the airport, all within half an hour of the vacation the rental. Murphy's Market is right there for quick supplies you may need. The views were magnificent, we had great weather, and Trinidad is a beautiful little seaside town. The home had everything we needed and more. The fireplace and hot tub were nice after long hikes during the day. We loved our time there and made great memories.

Gorgeous, Quaint Coastal Town - Beautiful Home
The property is extremely well maintained, great location with a very short walk into town and very close to the marina and beach. Murphy’s Grocery Store is a must. The top floor and patios of the home look out on Trinidad Bay and surrounding coastal area. This home was very comfortable and made our four day stay very memorable.

Great home with a beautiful view
First time in Trinidad and this home was ideal! Very clean and had all the amenities we needed. And what about location, location, location! Great coastal home right on the Pacific with beautiful views! Not to mention close to all Trinidad has to offer and easy access to 101. Beautiful views of Trinidad Bay!
Overall, this is a wonderful property for visiting Trinidad. Easy walk down to the harbor and beach, as well as to the store and restaurants. The view is amazing. The 3 bedrooms are nice. One bedroom does not have a closet, so we had to be a little creative with luggage placement. The house was clean, for the most part. We did notice dust bunnies and some dust under tables that was probably an oversight. When cooking in the oven, we noticed it could have been cleaner. Communication to the managers was easy and they responded promptly. I would stay her again.

Gorgeous property with gorgeous views. Lots of comfortable spaces for relaxing and dining. Well-equipped kitchen, tons of toys for kids, ping pong, etc. Close to town and the shore. Only minor shortcoming - second and third bedrooms could use more shelving for clothes.

Million dollar view
The home was exactly as showed in pictures. The check in process was very easy. The hot tub was a welcome treat to enjoy after exploring the nearby redwoods. The view was absolutely breathtaking. My only complaint would be the driveway. It is very steep and was a challenge to back out of daily. We bottomed out upon arrival when we pulled into the left side however the right side was a little easier. Still an amazing place.

FABULOUS
The views from this property are to die for. This was perfect for our family of 5 adults and one toddler under 2 years. Check in was simple-communication was quick and thorough. Beds were comfortable. The only thing I would have added is some more hanging space for clothing (one bedroom had no closet but did have a small chest and there is a coat closet upstairs). The kitchen was superbly stocked with appliances and even some staples in the pantry. Hot tub was awesome! Plenty of towels and had laundry soap, dishwashing soap, shower soap provided-more than most rentals I've stayed in. Also had plenty of toilet paper and paper towels provided for our entire stay (4 nights). I would HIGHLY recommend this property. Cloise to Fern Canyon, Mystery of Trees, and beautiful beaches that you can hike to and see a variety of sea life from in the tide pools. Be aware that restaurants are limited and many close very early. Grocery store near by with staples and a good deli. A 30 min. drive gets you to Target and more restaurants. WE LOVED THIS LOCATION! Property is very accurately described in the listing.

Close to beach & cute town
I loved sitting on the deck in the morning with the sun shining down and hearing the boeys and seals making noise. The town was cute and had a nice little museaum. We walked up Trinidad Head and down the beach at Trinidad and it was all lovely. Saw a fox run across the trail at Trinidad Head trying to escape from 2 noisy Stellar Jays. House was exactly as described and feels very private, even though there are houses on either side. Great place to stay if you are going to venture to the redwoods, which is what we were looking for.

This is a beautiful, well appointed house. Good, with a few issues
This property is pretty amazing. The view is great and the house is comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table and loved being able to walk into town. We have lived in humboldt county before for a long time.. it was fun to feel like a tourist in trinidad. The house wasn't without a few issues. The fridge smelled like death. It was visibly very clean, but the smell made us want to vomit whenever we opened the door... so that took away from the fun of cooking a meal and just generally grossed us out about any food we needed to store in it. Also, the checkout cleaning processes were annoying. I don't know if it was because covid that they give guests so many chores to do upon checking out, but some of them didn't make a lot of sense as far as actually mitigating the spread of covid to the house cleaners. We needed to leave at 7am... and it wasn't fun. People go on vacation to NOT clean... and especially for a house in this price range, I'd expect more ease. All together, I'd stay here again, hoping they took care of the fridge and lessen the arduous cleaning procedures upon checkout.

We loved staying here! The views are breath taking, you can walk to a small beach, and the owners have many inside toys, games, and sand toys for kids. The toaster doesn’t automatically pop up which caused us to set the smoke alarm off, but other than that, everything was amazing and perfect. We hope to return in the future!

Small town, big experiences
We stayed a long weekend in Trinidad and loved this rental with a deck overlooking the Trinidad Harbor. It was a short walk to Trinidad State Beach, a great spot to watch the sunset. We hiked the Trinidad Trail, right off the beach, and wandered into the small town the other direction. Patrick's Point State Park is a short drive and so are the redwoods parks, both with a variety of hikes we enjoyed. This comfortable house had everything we needed for our stay!

Online description was spot on! The house was extremely clean & beautiful! Loved the location! We were there to celebrate our 20th anniversary! We highly recommend & encourage anyone who is thinking about staying there, book it now!

Great Place to Stay!
This was our family’s first trip to the west coast, and it was fantastic! The house was absolutely stunning! More then we expected! Beautiful view of the ocean! Close access to the beach and friendly neighborhood! We’re ready to move in now! 😂

Trinidad oasis
Beautiful home with absolutely amazing views! The hot tub is an extra plus as you can star gaze at night or watch the boats come in/out of the bay during the day. Great location next to amazing hikes and beaches. Would definitely stay here again if we get the chance:)
