The lady at the front desk was great, very helpful and courteous. Our room was quite clean with a nice large bathroom, and the bed was comfortable. The grounds of the property need much attention. They were grown up and neglected. For the price, the room was nice, and it's a shame that the exterior of the property is not cared for well.

The property is so run down and in disrepair it is very uncomfortable to be there. There are almost no amenities, just a bar of soap in the restroom. No extra towels to be had. The sheets slide right off of the very uncomfortable beds and the mattresses are extremely stained. I have stayed at Motel 6 in other areas and do not recommend this location.

What you expect.
Hotel room was exactly what I expected for the price. It did have a fridge and microwave which was actually more than I expected. It was completely adequate for a one night stay.

Was to be a non-smoking room. The room smelled like a dirty ashtray and dog food. There was 5 empty of dog food cans in the garage can. With checking in after 11 PM I didn’t want to have to return to the front desk so I removed the trash bag with empty dog food cans and placed it in the garbage can that was on the walkway outside my room. For the dirty ashtray smell I had air freshener.

Best motel 6 I’ve been to, good value
Honestly the nicest motel 6 I’ve ever stayed in. It’s still a budget motel, but it’s better than most I’ve stayed in. Our room appeared to have been recently updated and had a nice shower and was nicely furnished, as well as newly painted. They were remodeling the other rooms on our floor too, which is a good sign. The staff that checked me in were great, the room was pretty clean and free of bugs, we felt safe in the area, there was plenty of parking, the bed wasn’t bad for a motel bed. Good value for the price during our overnight road trip stay.

Quiet and restful in Tucumcari
Easy to find, a nice distance from the noise of I-40 and US-54. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was so quiet I didn't even know it rained overnight. You'll sleep well here.

Quiet location, convenient to freeway entrance and to Rte 66 for dining options. Nice staffed front desk, and room was clean. I enjoyed the shower and the bed was comfortable. Nothing fancy, a good value, great low price. I've stayed here on multiple occasions. Always easy going and good vibes abound.

Bugs everywhere, seedy, sketchy people hanging around at night. Felt very unsafe and left before 11pm, tried to check out but nobody came to check me out so I left. Room not clean, there was stains on many surfaces.

Acceptable if you are not too fussy
There was no counter in the bathroom. No cover for the seat on the toilet. The floors were dirty, perhaps they have been swept, but definitely not mopped. However, on the plus side, the sheets were clean the bed comfortable and the service was good.

The lady who checked us in is very nice. Otherwise room is not what I reserved I reserved a single queen bed and got 2 doubles and was told they are queen they definitely are not I have a queen at home. Shower has no pressure and floor in bathroom is dirty. Only 3 tv channels actually come in the rest is pixilated, if it was for more than a night I would not be staying

The shower had no pressure. I rinsed off with water dripping from the shower head. There was a metal matress support that i hit my knee on. There were some people on property with kids, they only some French, their kids were outside running around and screaming at 1am. I didn't get any sleep.

The person who checked me in was very nice. I give her a 10. However, the room had numerous small bugs and flies. Get rid of the insects and I would stay again.
