Wonderful weekend

We were in town for the Grand Opening of the Company Distilling location in Lynchburg. The home was a lovely retreat each evening after the retail craziness. We especially loved walking to lake and sitting on the patio. Well recommended.

Memorial Day Weekend!

The property was exactly as advertised and more than met our needs. We were incredibly pleased, and truly appreciated the little touches provided by Vance and his team. I would recommend to any lover of Tims Ford Lake, or just a nice getaway to a wonderful community. Convenient to marina's and both Tullahoma and Winchester.

Great Weekend at the lake

Our group had a great stay at this home. It was incredibly well stocked with kitchen essentials, and toiletries in the bathrooms. It is a short walk down to a dock at the lake and connected to a Mariana. There was plenty of room for several families to spend time together. We would absolutely stay here again!

Relaxing stay

Everything was as described except the available sleeping units. Great place if people just need a bed but we had two families with some who like to sleep in late and others who like to rise early with caused issues with noise in the kitchen for those who utilized the pullou sofa downstairs and the dining room floor with an air mattress. It will comfortably sleep six in bedroom and another four on pullouts if those are the early risers.

Nice House-Inaccurate Listing-Doesn't Have a Bedroom with 2 Queen Beds

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this home. We stayed at Tims Ford Lake for a family reunion and had family members in 3 other homes in this neighborhood. It was really nice to have everyone within walking distance. However, I was concerned in booking the house that even though almost every review was a 10 out of 10 quite a few reviews mentioned that it didn't sleep as many people as it claimed to. For my family, we needed 4 actual beds (sleeper sofas not counted here), and it concerned me that I never saw a picture on the listing of both of the queen beds that were supposed to be in Bedroom 2. We had four adult couples, and they were supposed to have one couple in Bedroom 1, two couples in Bedroom 2 with the 2 queen beds, and one couple in Bedroom 3. They weren't in a situation where a sleeper sofa would really work. Unfortunately, Bedroom 2 apparently doesn't have two queen beds. A sixty-year-old couple ended up having to sleep on the couch/sleeper sofa. We would not have booked this house if we knew that it didn't actually have the beds it claimed to have. That's why I have to rate this house the way that I have. I usually give almost every house a perfect rating, but this is an inaccurate listing and that could easily be fixed in the description. It does not sleep 14 people. We really liked the other houses we stayed in, and we liked the neighborhood. However, we would not stay in this home again in the future.

This property was perfect for our visit to Tim Fords Lake. Great location close to a marina. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and organized. My favorite was the screened in porch with the cozy fireplace for morning coffee.

Lovely house and neighborhood. The path to the Marina was great and used a lot. We rented a ponton at the Marina which was fun. The only setback was there was not enough room & beds for our familt of 12.

4th of July Holiday

My family, includes one teenager, one 9 year old and three small dogs, were staying here from 7/3-7/7 for the 4th of July holiday. I was impressed from the moment we walked in. Everything was clean and ready for our family, even had a small basket of snacks in case we hadn’t been to the store already. The house itself was laid out great, the kids each had their own room upstairs and the landing area upstairs was their own private living room. Downstairs, the main living area, kitchen and dining room all opened up to each other and was very spacious. Both the dining room and living room opened up to the screened in porch. The master suite was also well laid out with a comfortable king size bed and enough storgae for all our things. The kitchen had every piece of cookware we needed, and my wife loves to cook, so that’s saying something. The coffee bar was nice and even came with little single serve creamer flavors. That was a big win for the teenager. The property is right above the Holiday Landing Marina/Blue Gill Grill with a private walking/golf cart path to the marina. We brought our own golf cart, and it was very convenient for us as we also keep our boat at Holiday Landing Marina. The neighborhood is super friendly with lots of neighbors out walking their dogs, playing Cornhole, driving their golf carts and just generally friendly. Lastly, my communication with Vance was great. An amazing property and experience.

Wonderful house close to the lake!

We really enjoyed our stay in Tullahoma and felt very safe in the neighborhood! The lake is super close by with a great restaurant called the Bluegill Grill. If you get out on a boat, make sure you find the cave and swim in it! The house is clean, comfortable beds, nice screened in outdoor area to enjoy your breakfast and coffee. Would absolutely recommend this house!

Christmas 2023

Every year my husband and I go to Tennessee to spend a few days with our oldest and his family for Christmas. This year has by far been the best Christmas stay we’ve had. The home was fully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. We hosted a family dinner with more extended family and everyone was able to be comfortable in the space. We absolutely loved this home and pray it’s available when we plan our 2024 stay at Christmas!
