Your new favorite Lake House Getaway!!
This welcoming home is full of love and character. What a dream to wake up in such a gorgeous house surrounded by nature. The home is fully stocked with all the essentials to enjoy a home cooked meal with family and friends. So much room for enjoying family activities or having a quiet place alone to read a book or do a puzzle Plenty of family games, books, puzzles available for all ages. The main attraction in the open living room / dining area is the view and fireplace. No TV in the common area was such a great idea. Close by are many options for restaurants or being outside enjoying the spectacular views. We visited beautiful waterfalls, enjoyed local farms with fresh apple fritters, and drove around one of finger lakes. Definitely drive scenic route 20 for the best views of upstate. Our reason for visiting was for family weekend at Syracuse University. It was a quick 20 minute ride up the highway. Well worth having a huge house to enjoy instead of a crammed hotel room. We would definitely rent his home again. Thank you very much for an unforgettable weekend.

Wonderful property!
We had an amazing time during our long weekend at this property! The home is perfect for entertaining and catching up with family! We were in town for a family wedding and we were able to host a small dinner with relatives. We also were excited to share the fire pit and beautiful lake views. The home is set up for enjoying time with family. The hosts had every detail covered. We enjoyed the kayaks and canoe and they even had lifejackets for all. Firewood was provided and even beach towels when we braved the water in September. Walking trails were just down the street around a separate lake. I personally felt so at peace on this quiet and private lake. I loved the comfy master suite and the gorgeous view with my morning coffee. Thank you for a fun yet relaxing stay!

Incredible home in Upstate NY!
Honestly can’t say enough great things about this house. It was beautiful, clean - like way above average type of clean, spacious, and well-stocked. We were a group of 8 and we had more than enough room. The location is serene. We were amazed at how quiet it was at night and how comfortable the beds were. We highly recommend this place for families or groups of friends. There was so much to do and see in the area. Thank you for opening your home to us!

Perfect place for family!
Perfect lake house for a family vacation! The host was very accommodating and consistent with quick communication, providing all details to check in well in advance and providing a lot of great information on the house and area (activities, restaurants, etc). The house was very clean and had plenty of games and toys for family/little ones. Our group included ages 1-60+ and we found that the house was great for all. Kitchen was stocked and even had plenty of spices, condiments, and coffee to enjoy. Overall the area was really quiet and peaceful. We especially loved the canoe and being able to fish throughout the week. We wanted a location convenient to both Ithaca and Syracuse, and it was exactly that. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Our group of 7 had an amazing time in Tully and at Kristen’s house. The house was very clean and check in was as simple as can be. We throughly enjoyed the use of the kayaks, canoe and paddle board…as well as the fire pit. The kitchen had what we needed to cook our meals, and the rest of the house was stocked with nice amenities (soap, shampoo, towels, cleaning products, etc). Thank you for sharing your lovely home!!

Tully Lake House
House was great.. possibly even better than what the listing showed! Having access to kayaks, the paddle board, canoe, etc., made using and enjoying the lake super easy and accessible. Our 4 kids, ages 4-9, loved the swimming platform. The basement room was perfect for the kids to sleep, hang out and play and the sitting area on the main floor was just the right size for us adults. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the inclusion of linens, bath and beach towels and toiletries made everything that much easier. We grilled and ate outside and enjoyed the fire pit as well. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and have already talked about coming back!

Peaceful lake retreat
Our family loved this quiet, peaceful lake. The views from the house are beautiful. We loved swimming from the platform. We only ventured out to a state park one day, preferring to relax on the lake and cook at home. This small home feels big with lots of space even for our large family. The owner was very helpful, and we appreciated that even beach towels were provided.

Relaxing lakeside getaway!
Our family loved this property. The proximity to the water from the house was perfect, right out the backdoor and onto the dock! The kids spent hours fishing (and caught/released a ton of fish) and then enjoyed jumping of the floating dock. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Our host was communicated the directions well and check-in and check-out went smoothly. We would definitely come back to stay for another family get together. Thank you for sharing your home!

Mother Daughter Weekend
This house was beautiful inside and out. It was perfect for a little get away. The surrounding area was beautiful, so many different activities to do and things to see. Just a short ride in to town. The owners thought of everything and had a nicely stocked home for you to use. Our only down side was the smell of the water, but that wouldn’t stop us from coming back or recommending.

A beautiful house for our “Family Gathering”
This home had so much to offer. It comfortably accommodated all our children and grandchildren during our stay. The house was well furnished with many amenities. Outdoor activities included swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, barbecuing and evening campfires which our family really enjoyed. A large variety of games and puzzles also provided many hours of great family entertainment. Additionally, all communication with the owner was a pleasure.

Wonderful weekend with kids and grandparents. Newly installed/bolted ladder at the end of the dock made all the difference for my aging parents to access the lake swimming and kayaks. Thank you! Fun swim platform. Warm water even in June. Very clean and clear around the swim platform. Good fishing! Had a wonderful stay and would come again for sure!

Lovely weekend
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House was clean and well stocked. Owner Kristin was very responsive and offered great suggestions on things to do and places to eat in the area. Very close to town which was a plus. We loved sitting around the fire pit enjoying the lake view. . There was a canoe and kayak on property. While the house sleeps ten, it only has three bedrooms. There is a loft area and the lower level serves as a bunk room. This was not a problem as the younger adults were happy to take over these areas. Just something to keep in mind when planning on sleeping arrangements. All in all we were satisfied with the accommodations and were glad we made the trip.

Charming & Family-friendly property
Our family of 5 had plenty of room here. The kids loved the dock, playing among the trees near the house, and creating a short sledding path in the snow along the driveway. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. Kristin replied quickly to our inquiries, Including giving us a great recommendation for a curbside grocery pick up on our way to the house from the airport. Be sure to bring your own drinking water, as the house water is a bit discolored. We skied Song Mountain, which was perfect for kids, and it was so close to the house (maybe 5 minutes away). We made the easy drive into Syracuse for dinner and to see Hamilton at the historic Landmark Theater. This home was a great fit for us, and we would definitely stay here again!

This place is above and beyond our expectations, pictures didn’t do any justice to how beautiful the house and location are. Owner is very helpful with all details needed, check-in checkout process is smooth. We wish we had stayed longer coz activities around that location are so many. 50th anniversary
We stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of September for my parents anniversary. The owner was quick with her responses and extremely helpful. The location is secluded and serene. We enjoyed the kayaks and canoe and were out every day, either for a paddle or to fish. We had camp fires on two evenings. We ventured out to the local apple orchard/cidery which was a fun and tasty outing. Outside of that, the group voted to hang out the house! Plenty of towels and camp wood. Plenty of cozy blankets to go around, I meant to ask the owner where she shops...I love good blankets! The only thing I would mention is the tv is downstairs with limited seating, but the only time we wanted tv was to watch the Bills game. We ended up pulling it up on a laptop while seating on the deck with the view behind! Such a beautiful gem with something for everyone! Thanks so much for helping us create such beautiful memories with my family and parents on their milestone.

Wonderful family getaway
My family (ranging in age from 23 to 84) enjoyed every minute of our stay at this location. There are not enough good things to say about this house. The entire experience was great. Kristin was very helpful and answered every question quickly. The house was very well stocked from kitchen items to towels and games. The location and view of the lake from the house was beautiful. This was the perfect stay for both my parents who were able to relax and enjoy the views as well as myself, husband, daughter, and friends who were able to use the kayak, canoe, and paddle boards. There is something for everybody here!

Perfect Getaway
My husband and I brought our parents on this vacation as they had been leading limited social lives for the last year and a half. There were two bedrooms on the ground floor with a large walk in shower which was a perfect set up for them. The hostess provided new tower fans for their bedrooms when she heard they were in their 80s. But what we all loved was the full size windows and beautiful view. We enjoyed looking at the lake all day long. My husband, father and I kayaked, fished and swam. It is an unique setting and so peaceful. We also had memorable day trips to wineries at Skaneateles and Cayuga lakes, Erie Canal museum, restaurants and the local cider distillery. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

Great property for my pareebts, siblings and their families to stay. 10 beds was a little short for our group but some members lived close by. House lived up to expectations. A larger table would of helped during meals since we could only sit 5 around the table. The lake was awesome. The property was private. Kids and adults enjoyed the whole experience.

Peaceful and Private
Our family of seven never felt crowded in this roomy open-plan home on the lakeshore. We loved the firepit near the water, the deck and the bluestone patio, and the huge windows with an expansive view of the landscape. However, we had to improvise when it came to furniture (no dining table, too few chairs, etc.) and certain kitchen basics. Kristin was extremely responsive and went out of her way to fix the problems that were fixable. But for our summer stay, we were disappointed to find swimming in the lake to be so challenging, due to extensive vegetation and the lack of a ladder on the dock. As well, the house's cooling system was just not up to the week's 90-degree temps. Oscillating fans in the bedrooms would have been welcome.

Thank you Mary Kay for all of your feedback! We’re new to the rental business and really do appreciate any and all feedback. Will be purchasing ladder for dock and fans for bedrooms on main level. Note there is a ladder on the swimming platform where there are no lily pads & vegetation. Also a round dining table with 6 chairs and fold up table in basement storage. Again, appreciate your time and feedback:)

There were 8 of us ranging in age from 17-80. We had an amazing time enjoying the deck and swimming in the lake. Absolutely beautiful!! The house was well stocked and spacious enough for everyone to find their own place to be alone when they needed it.

This is a very nice house on a peaceful, quiet lake. We loved all the added lake "toys" kayaks, paddle board, tube, etc. We loved hanging out on the lake and taking many day trips. The house is well stocked and cared for. The host communicated extremely well and gave me lots of good ideas for things to do and see in the area.

Great location for a hiking, boating, and swimming vacation :)
My husband and kids (aged 3, 8, and 8), along with my parents, stayed at this lake house for 5 days at the end of June. We appreciated all of the host’s helpful suggestions of things to do in the area, and loved the proximity to numerous beautiful waterfall hikes that were challenging enough but doable even for small kids. The kids loved jumping off the swim platform and Crooked Lake is a nice place to kayak and SUP, etc. The water lilies and lily pads are beautiful though a minor nuisance for boating/swimming. The host has numerous kayaks, a canoe, a stand-up paddle board, and plenty of life jackets to use. There were also tons of fun games for the kids to try, and I actually appreciated the fact that there was no TV in the main room - we played games and read instead of watching TV. The deck was a beautiful place to enjoy a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening, and there were surprisingly few mosquitos , with a lovely breeze off the water. The views are gorgeous! A few downsides: (1) a few of the days we were there it was VERY hot, and although it is understandable that the house does not have AC, there are also almost no ceiling fans (none in the two bedrooms on the main floor or in the basement) and no box fans. Most of the adults ended up sleeping on couches as it was way too hot in the bedrooms to sleep; (2) When we arrived, the freezer and fridge REEKED of fish, and although it dissipated after we cleaned out a pool of stinking water in the bottom drawer of the fridge, it never really went away. In general, the place could have been cleaner when we arrived; (3) The small TV in the basement is awkwardly placed and there is only one small couch in that room, so that for our family of 7 to watch a movie together most of us had to sit on the floor; (4) The lights in the house were also awkwardly placed (hard to find!) and VERY dim in some places, making it difficult to see anything, particularly in the two bedrooms on the main floor; (5) the ‘fully-stocked’ kitchen does not have much - no measuring spoons, no spices, only two wine glasses, very few large pans/bowls for cooking, etc. Overall, a *really* nice vacation with kids. We loved the proximity to great hiking, the swim platform, the boats, the abundant towels and life jackets, the beautiful deck and views, and the large shower on the main floor. Fans, more thorough cleaning, more kitchen utensils/supplies, and better lighting/seating would make this five stars.

Kate - thank you very much for your detailed review! I feel terrible you weren't aware there is a split a/c unit in the master bedroom that cools the entire house. We'll be sure to add this to our arrival message. We will also be adding more supplies to the kitchen and someone will check out the refrigerator for the smell immediately. Quiet and relaxing
The peace and quiet was wonderful. The property size was perfect for privacy. Having the lake there was relaxing, with canoe and kayaks available. Lots of play things for kids, with 2 bunkbeds downstairs and a large play area. There is only air conditioning in the upstairs ensuite in case you are sensitive to heat/humidity. At times another fan would help. There is very little/low lighting in the dining area and bedrooms. There are two large bedrooms on the first floor which is great for people with mobility concerns.

I rented the house for my birthday weekend for my family and friends. House was very nice and cozy, perfectly clean with fantastic lake views. Location is great meaning not far from home (I live in Camillus) but pretty far from neighbors))) Backyard is very private and well maintained. Kids swam a lot, we rode a canoe, made s'mores... Or you can just sit on the deck with glass of wine or cup of coffee and enjoy nature sounds and views which we did all the time! I definitely recommend this place! If you are looking for a little getaway that is it! So quiet and peaceful!!!

Great Get-away!!

Beautiful View/Perfect Location
My family thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. It was a perfect location for our outdoor day trips to Syracuse, Ithaca and Rochester. We made most of our meals in the house but did enjoy fantastic pizza from Sweet Basil (a recommendation from Kristin and 5 minutes from the house). We especially enjoyed the fabulous view of the frozen lake while having meals and playing games in main room. Kristin was very receptive and provided quick answers to my questions before and during the stay. We would definitely stay here again!
