Leuke appartementen net buiten het centrum
Green Tulum ligt net buiten het centrum. Een fiets of scooter huren is aan te raden. De appartementen en hoe het is aangekleed ziet er goed uit. Omdat wij ongeveer de enige gasten waren, waren de meeste faciliteiten zoals de bar gesloten.

De foto's van het hotel zagen er erg leuk uit. In werkelijkheid viel het tegen; bij de receptie sprak men geen woord Engels, pas na 20 min kwam er warm water uit de kraan, er waren geen dekens en 's nachts was het erg koud, erg lawaaierig aan doorgaande weg, geen kluisje.

Leuk hotel in een authentieke stijl.
Hotel is een soort dorp met rond het zwembad de cabanas. Alles ziet er sfeervol uit, maar het ligt dicht tegen de hoofdweg tussen Cancun en Chetumal aan, waardoor je 's avonds het geluid van de vrachtwagens hoort. Kamers zijn sfeervol met airconditioning en warm water. Restaurant is goed. Prijs t.o.v. kwaliteit is prima.

Very cute cabin-hotel, not expensive, simple&good
Our cabin was very lovely and cute also beautifull details with shells water coming out. If you are a big person the shower can Be a Little small. We missed a minibar / menu at the pool but you can ask the staff to get what you want from the supermarket. It's quiet and very nice to relax and do some trips.

Lovely two story basic cabanas. The place is a little more than tired. The pool was green. The pugs were friendly. The staff fell over backwards to assist you and Breakfast was great. Nothing fancy and yes a cold shower on a cool morning did send a chill up my spine .

Out of town and quiet. Clean rooms with decent size pool. Showers weren't airways hot and the restaurant wasn't open when we stayed - not even serving coffee and juices. The AC in our room was faulty. Overall we had a relaxing stay though.

El hotel es bastante acogedor, tipo rústico pero bonito! La alberca daba el aspecto q estaba medio sucia pero talvez es por el medio en el q se encuentra el hotel, sin duda volvere y lo recomiendo sin pensarlo!!

It is a nice hotel a little off the strip towards the end but it is a short walk maybe 5 to 10 min walk to all the activities and restaurants and the staff was friendly. i was kinda scared because towards the end of the strip there isn't any street lights its a little dark for about 2 blocks before you get to the main area. overall good experience only complaint would be the hot water wasn't very hot it was like warm. they didn't have TV but i didn't mind the AC was nice and strong though when i went it wasn't very hot.

LEAVING HELL - INSANE OWNER - RUN AWAY
Dust everywhere, spider webs everywere, the soaps of the last clientes were still on the shower that was really dirty. They were only one pillow one the bed and no towels in the bathroom, we then asked for one pillow and towels to the receptionist that came back with some later, the joke was that he didn’t bring 3 towels but 3 bath mat, obviously really dirty too. Any way we were tired and only wanted to sleep so we get to bed, I’m a ear plug addict I cannot sleep without it, thing is that at 1am i woke up because of the sound of a club or something like this, it was sooo loud that even with my ear plug I couldn’t sleep. After 2 hours waiting to see what would happen we went to the receptionist to ask him to help us with this. It was useless to try to speak, he was really nice and everything but it was obvious he was scared of his boss so I asked him to call his boss, he told me that he was out of the country. Bullshit after 1 hour insisting he finally showed up very unrespectful, talking bad from the beginning and telling me that if I was no happy with the music it was none of his business and that I should go tell them to lower the music myself. We argued loudly for a will and I asked him a total refund because I wanted to live the crazy place. He finally told me that he was about to call the police I told him to do so. He didn’t called them and gave money to the recpet for us to leave. We left at 5am

Rodeado de naturaleza, justo lo que nos gusta.
Las personas que nos recibieron no tan amables... Llegamos antes de la hora del check in y no querían darnos la habitación antes de esa hora pero les pregunté si ya la tenían lista y no muy contentos dijeron que si y ya nos dejaron hacer el check in.... Que mal que no reciban a uno con buena actitud aunque no mos enfocamos en eso y decidimos disfrutar de nuestra estadía. No está nada cerca de nada, nosotros traíamos coche y no tuvimos ningún problema pero una noche si salimos a caminar y estaba muy oscuro hasta la tercera calle que caminamos ya se veía algo de luz y movimiento. Las habitaciones son una en PB de la cabaña y otra en el segundo piso recomiendo el segundo piso se siente mas como una cabaña.

Problem with hot water.
The problem is that the units all all in a row and the units on the end never get hot water. The manager did come over and opened a valve outside and ran a bunch of water on the ground and we got warm water. The next day they gave us a up grade one that was closer to the hot water tank and we had hot water. The sign by the road was not lite so it was hard to find at night.

Albergo carino vicino a Tulum Pueblo
Niente di speciale per questo albergo che è su una delle tante traverse della via principale della città, anche se per arrivare al centro ci vuole un quarto d’ora a piedi. Le camere sono carine con sistemazione tipo bungalow ma c’è sempre rumore anche la notte. Il personale dell’albergo è un po’ assente. Il ristorante non lo abbiamo provato perché era sempre chiuso. Consigliato per una sosta veloce di una notte.

Wonderful Staff but Bad Location and Sub-par Rooms
The staff were nice, but we left before our reservation was over due to a number of factors. The hotel is far enough out of downtown Tulum to not only be inconvenient but also scary to travel to at night. It is far enough down the main road that there are no street lights for a portion of the walk. I would recommend not making this walk alone, just take a taxi instead. The rooms were noticeably built by hand; there are gaps in the corners of the walls and under the doors that allow in many (large, scary...) bugs. You could hear every move of the upstairs neighbors. The rooms were dark, especially the bathroom which was more creepy than quaint. The showers were nice and hot though, but I felt I needed to wear flip flops while showing. We also discovered that water ran down the walls of our room when the upstairs neighbors showered, which was the last straw that lead to our departure.

Great value in offbeat location.
The Green Tulum is on the outskirts of “downtown” Tulum. It is a funky property in a jungle like setting. Lots of quirky touches like the seashell light fixtures and faucets. It’s not spotless or perfectly built but it has lots of charm and a lovely setting. The staff was friendly and helpful. They only serve toast and coffee for breakfast but lots of good food options less than a half mile away. A mile or two to the beach town of Tulum which has everything you could want in a tropical setting. White sand beaches gorgeous restaurants, massage, yoga, shopping. There you’ll pay several times more for a room on the beach. Green Tulum is a great low budget option.

It was very disappointing the roof leaked and we had a wet bed . they advertised a health club and restaurant - neither if which really exist and hard to find- a long way out of town.

Hôtel très excentré. Quand nous sommes arrivés il n avait pas la réservation du site. J ai du leur montrer les mails de confirmations d’hotels.com. Personnel peu agréable. Les serviettes n étaient pas présentes à notre entrée dans la chambre.

Hotel cómodo y limpio.
Me encanto el hotel, soy muy atentos y amables, lo que podían mejorar es la calle que le pongan empedrado o adoquino para que mejore el aspecto al llegar, y en ocasiones no había agua caliente, pero nada grave, ya el clima ayuda. Cuando vaya a Tulum sin duda me hospedaría en Green Tulum.

No es lo que ofrece
Es un hotel rústico tipo cabañas pero muy caro para las condiciones en que se encuentra. Las habitaciones son pequeñas y con muy poca iluminación. Se ve limpio pero encontramos cucarachas. La alberca está muy sucia el agua tan turbia que no dan ganas de meterse. Si te toca estar en una habitación de abajo se escucha absolutamente todo lo de la habitación de arriba y las personas no tienen respeto por esto. Se encuentra lejos del centro en una zona muy oscura y la calle está horrible para entrar con coche. Tiene un restaurante con comida regular. El personal es amable.

El hotel tiene todo para ser un buen hotel, sin embargo, le falto desayuno (el chef no estaba), el gerente del hotel no tiene nigun carismo, y esta casi vulgar. Estaciona su camioneta como si no tuvieran clientes. Ademas, de tener unos problemas con el agua, tuvimos que reclamar varias veces para que arreglen el problema.

Nettes Ambiente!!!
Das Hotel ist ein Stadthotel, welches am Ortsrand von Tulum liegt. Es ist eine kleine grüne Oase mit netten Zimmern im Dschungel Stil. Besonders die Zimmer im ersten Obergeschoß mit dem Strohdach und dem Balkon sind genial. Mückenspray sollte man sich besser in der Apotheke besorgen ;-) Vom Ambiente her sehr romantisch. Besonders die Lampen in den Muscheln. Eine Klimaanlage gibt es nicht. Dafür einen großen Deckenventilator. In den Stadtkern geht es in 7 Minuten zu Fuß der mit dem Taxi für 50 Pesos. Wer Tulum nur zum Cenoten Tauchen oder für die Ruinen oder Naturparks besucht ist hier bestens aufgehoben.

Voyage au Mexique de 3 semaines. C'est le seul des 9 hôtels que nous avions réservés qui nous a énormément déçu. Hôtel vétuste : piscine douteuse (on ne s'y est pas baigné, transats tâchés), chambre spacieuse qui semblait propre (les sanitaires étaient nettoyés chaque jour) mais sans aucun confort. Les photos sur internet sont loin de la réalité. Route passagère toute proche, on avait l'impression que les camions passaient sous les fenêtres voir au pied du lit. Salle de bain plus qu'exigüe (maxi 2m²): WC avec quasiment les pieds dans la douche et le lavabo coincé derrière la porte, le miroir trop haut. Chambre visitée par tous les insectes des alentours (volants, rampants...). Sorte de cafard qui remonte par l'évacuation de la douche, lézard qui tombe du plafond, insecte qui court dans la cuvette des WC. Le tout malgré la porte fermée et des moustiquaires aux fenêtres !!! Bref, un cauchemar. Nous y avons passé 4 nuits affreuses. A éviter absolument.
