El concepto de hotel está agradable y muy espacioso la zona no me gustó nada la calle no está pavimentada es pura terracería había escuchado que la veleta era una zona algo exclusiva y fue una decepción, consideren si van a llevar maletas y tienen que jalarlas porque va a ser complicado. En la noche se percibe algo inseguro porque la iluminación es escasa en la calle y está retirado para ir a lugares de ocio de forma práctica

J’ai payé sur expédia et du coup la personne qui est responsable de l’hébergement il m’a dit j’ai pas payé ma chambre donc je me suis retrouvé à payer 2 fois. Je suis en vacances je me retrouve à écrire à un agent virtuel pour réglé le problème et du coup j’ai pas apprécié cette situation.

First arrived at the property late so receptionists had left but they sent all check in info by whatsapp and email which was really useful. Got to the room and we were disappointed as it was very small for a 10 night stay. Messaged consierge who were more than happy to swap us the next day and did so very smoothly. The new studio room was on the ground floor and had everything we needed. Large bathroom, lots of storage space, huge tv with smart apps, big fridge freezer. Room was always cleaned at our convenience and the housekeeping made a cute birthday cake prop out of the towels when they realised it was my birthday. Very sweet. Housekeeping did our laundry for 200 pesos which we felt was reasonable. Outside the gate is not tended to by the property, rubbish and dog crap is left there. Bikes that you can hire are quite old and rusty, better to look around and get better bikes. We hired a scooter from the locally owned business just across from the apartments. Think it is very important to mention the pool displayed as the main imagine is not at the apartments it is at the Los Amigos complex around 5 minutes walk. Gym was small but did the job, was clean. Didn't have anywhere for you to fill or get water before 8.30am. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, staff were friendly and approachable and always keen to help. We were glad we stayed in La Veleta for a more authentic experience. Would definitely recommend staying at Condos Los Amigos, in the right room.

The communication with their representative was terrible. The apartment was not at the address on our booking. When it became apparent that the apartment door did not lock, we had to fight to have it fixed. And the safe that their representative advised us to use to store our laptops etc in lieu of a lockable door, was not fastened down. We pointed that and handed it to him, and requested another room, but were told no. Luckily the maintenance person who happened to be in the building was kind enough to stay later than the end of his shift and fix the door so that we could have some security in the apartment.

Nous avons passé trois nuits ici. C'est un hôtel confort, propre et dans un environnement calme. Il y a une supérette à 1 min à pied. Par contre, il faut avoir un moyen de transport pour aller à la mer. La chambre était très spacieuse et agréable. Seul bémol, nous avons réservé la chambre "El cielo" pour la fenêtre donnant sur la végétation et le ciel au dessus de nos lits et celle ci était condamnée à l'arrivée. Nous l'avons signalé. La réceptionniste nous a dit que les travaux seraient faits le lendemain mais nous sommes restées trois nuits et n'avons jamais vu la couleur du ciel ! Dommage...

Loved our stay here! They had a gym and spa that was available to us, the rooftop pool was awesome, and the area was perfect. Our room had a retractable skylight, a small kitchen and they stocked our fridge with water. We were so happy with our stay. The only negative was the pillows were really hard and uncomfy, but besides that I have nothing but good things to say, it was clean, a big beautiful window for a wall with sliding doors. It’s a great hotel!

Beautiful condos in the middle of no where
Enjoyed the deluxe suite with kitchenette , it’s was basically a 1bd apt. I love that Los Amigos rooms are well equipped from kitchen utensils , cleaning products, applicances and tools to cook a meal , little details that most hotels in Playa /Tulum forget. WiFi was great and balcony had great view of jungle. Only thing I didn’t like was the location, extremely hard to find at night , street is bumpy dirt road. Receptionist was nice & polite but seems to be the other person available to answer questions from 9am-8pm. After that you fend for yourself, no security guard. However , I would book this suite for longer stays , not just a night visit. 4 out of 5 stars

If you book a room with Los Amigos, The day before your flight they will email you saying you have been selected for a free upgrade. They send you a different address to their other location, once you get there the concierge will greet you and show you to your room, except this room is much smaller than the room your probably booked online. If you ask why they moved you hotels for a “free upgrade” without your permission they won’t give you a straight answer.. they just try to talk your ear off about the spa and tell you how great it is. They might even give you “free spa time” that you can’t even use because the front desk ladies at the spa will lie you and say they are full… When I asked the concierge to please move us to a room that was the same size as the one I booked online she lied to me and said they are all “studio sized rooms” which I found out from another resident that was a lie… when I confronted her about what she told me she said, oh those rooms are for people who live here… the hotel room we had was very nice, if you’re okay with a rock hard bed, a lot of rules, taking cold showers and listening to your upstairs neighbors stomp around on the hollow floor above the whole time you stay here. I will say that the property is very nice and very clean. But I would recommend staying somewhere else to avoid the headache on your vacation because they’re are thousands of other beautiful resorts at and around tulum that you could stay at for the same price or cheaper.

As for the comments, I am truly sorry for your inconveniences and would like to address them since every inquiry solicitated was attended, The change of mattress you cancelled at the last minute because you found it very comfortable after one night, the massages on behalf of the hotel for your displeasure about the upgrade and the bottle of wine courtesy of the hotel. We are in high season and we have everything almost completely booked, including services at the Spa and since it is free, our guests rely upon availability, which is why we ask all our guests to book with anticipation in order to receive you everyday. As for the rooms, many of them have owners who live there and are not available for rent since it is for the use they see fit, this is what the concierge informed but I can see now how it can be misunderstood and my most sincerest apologies for the miscommunication. We are truly sorry your experience was not what you were hoping for and wish you the very best. Kind Regards,

Nous avons eu un super séjour, nous avons prit 3 type de chambre dans l'hôtel soit la Luna , le penthouse et l'appartement fuego. Poura part la chambre Luna est beaucoup trop petite et pas d'espace pour le travail donc c'est pour cette raison que nous avons changé. le reste était impeccable. Il nous on permis de rentrer dans nos autre chambre a l'avance pour pouvoir mettre notre nourriture dans le frigo durant les transitions. Le personnel est tous très courtois. Bel endroit à faire. PS : petit coup de coeur pour le resto thai et le spa affilié à l'hôtel mais nous avons seulement été mit au courant a la fin de notre séjour que nous n'avions 1 h de compris par jour pour l'hydrothérapie.

Los Amigos Tulum
Los Amigos Tulum is very comfortable. It is quite new and therefore well adorned and maintained - it is also a studio if that's what you are into. Very clean and incredibly friendly staff. The only downside is the location - it's really far from the beach and a good 20min walk to downtown Tulum.

This was a very comfortable place to stay and great location for exploring the area. Main highway is two blocks away, beach and ruins are about 15 minutes. Lots of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with parking on the street.

I absolutly love staying with Los Amigos! All the staff are super friendly and accommodating. Always a smile on their faces😃 rooms are cleaned daily and everything is very clean and modern. It’s the bare minimum. Nothing but dirt/trash and start dogs around It’s not a hotel . You will have to drive from the location on the map to another property . I think they are trying to trick hotels.com If you have an issue , no one will respond The pool was refreshing. The cleanliness and decor , terrible The Greeter is nice enough . Check in wasn’t too easy. $200 deposit for a 45 room , one night

We really enjoyed our stay here! Rooms where spacious and having a kitchen was great for cooking when we didn’t want to go out. Bed was super comfy and pillows where good. The rooftop pool was really lovely and always clean. Communications were print and alway super helpful. I felt safe here as there are cameras outside and around the property. The safe in the room was useful too. Thank you

I'm doing this review in all fairness based on the fact that We did NOT stay after getting there and having almost a mission impossible to navigate on the nearest streets to this property , anything close to the moon's craters is not an exageration .These guys need to do something about that issue swiftly
