the staff was super friendly and helpfull with everything.. my friend was stung while being allergic for musquitos and the guy brought aloe vera from his house and it helped alot.. the food could be a little better but that's all and you're surounded by many restaurants. we enjoyed Tulum alot

Het verblijf ligt in een nieuwbouwwijk, dicht bij het strand. Maar de staat van de hotelkamers is slecht. Voor een nieuw hotel is het verbazingwekkend hoe slecht de isolatie is. Gesprekken van buren kunnen worden meegeluisterd, geluiden op de gang ook. Na een klacht hierover zijn we van kamer gewisseld, maar het geluid bleef hetzelfde. Op een avond werd om 23:00 uur nog de kamer naast die van ons verbouwd. Handdoekenservice is slecht: we moesten dagelijks vragen om kleine handdoeken omdat ze deze weer vergeten waren. Het ontbijt is simpel, maar voldoende.

Very friendly staff, very good breakfast included, good airco, good bed, nice shower. clean room. nice view from pool, free bicycles, good food! no mosquitos. we stayed 3 nights in the suite room but would recommend at least 4 nights. enough to do in the neigborhood. recommend this hotel!

We stayed 21 nights in this hotel as we used it as a base from where we did several trips. It is a very nice place, with an amazingly friendly staff who will help you wherever they can. The guys at the front desk have all the time to help you when you want to know something or meet something. Special thanks to Raul! They will also provide you with a bicycle. And you really need one if you don't have a car. The bicycles could use maintenance and it would be great when they would have lights! The rooms look nice and modern. We stayed in room 201 and it is was really quiet. We had an issue with a room in the beginning and Gabriella (front desk manager) sorted this out and after that it was great. Tnx a lot! A water cooker in the room for tea would have been a bonus! The room was cleaned very well, sometimes they forgot to restock things like coffee or shampoo, but in the evening they always came along if we needed anything also, zo the restocking wasn't a real issue. Breakfast was delicious. Never had breakfast a la carte before. When you need your breakfast at 700, then you can preorder it the day before and it will be on your table on time! The staff in the restaurant is very kind especially Omar. Always friendly and a smile, he also learned us some Spanish ;). The pool was one of the reasons that we booked this hotel. Its located on the roof and the view is nice. At the moment a lot of new buildings are build. This creates some noise. I assume it won't take long

We had to leave a horrible hotel situation and came here day of booking. The girl at the front and the manager were so sweet and really helped us, we even paid a small amount for an upgraded room we didnt see online. This place was a way better vibe, the room was clean the shower had warm water and it wasnt loud or noisey. This is my second time here i would definitely come back.

Nice hotel with close to local spots. Though, it was hard to find the hotel. Navigation first took me one way and then where it would tell you to turn it was blocked off and couldn't turn.

Nervous upon arrival there were 3 police officers in the lobby and guest complaining of stolen money from their room safe that was apparently switched out. I opted to not get cleaning during my stay because of this fear but they asked me constantly if I wanted to clean the room. When leaving I was asked to wait for room inspection then told a robe was missing and I had to pay for it. I even opened my luggage to show them I didn’t have a robe and didn’t recall if the robe was ever in the room to begin with. I was between this property and aloft and wished I stayed T the bigger brand hotel.

Since the guest in question argued that he could not find part of his money (which he never put in his safe). When the securities are not inside the safe, we do not know if he actually had that money or if he thought he still had it. (If you check our previous comments, you will see that we don't have that problem).We regularly ask our guests if they want us to clean their room because some guests put the "do not disturb" sign and they think that we will clean their room for them. Because when they see that we didn't clean it because they had a do not disturb sign, some people get upset.We actually inspect the room because many times guests forget some objects and we have delivered many objects that are important to them before they leave the hotel.Kind regards.Naay Team

No AC and they tried avoiding us a refund
Absolutely the worst arrival experience we had with this hotel. They waited until we arrived there late at night to inform us that the AC was broken in our room and there was no other rooms available that they could switch us to. Note that it is hot in Tulum and there was no way we were able to sleep without an AC. For something so crucial they should have contacted us earlier so we would have had time to make alternative arrangements. The staff said it was going to be fixed the next day and when we called the next day, they said “it was going to be fixed tomorrow” again. Thankfully after our first interaction we felt they were super unreliable and already replaced our booking with another hotel. The worst part when we asked for a full refund as we never stayed, the “manager” was never there and they kept asking us to call back tomorrow. Before when you book with this place.

Nice Boutique Hotel with a luxurious feel
The staff at the hotel are wonderful and we're very helpful during our stay. Chris and Armando helped us get taxis and gave us recommendations. The only reason I give 4 stars is because Tulum occasionally has power outages. Luckily the hotel runs on a generator but this caused issues with the air conditioner, meaning it wasn't working during our stay. However, they did upgrade our room and provided a fan, which was the best they could do under the circumstances! The area (Aldea Zama), was quiet and a lot different from the hotel zone. We liked this, however as you probably know by now, taxis are very expensive so trying to get to the hotel zone for the beach, etc. was expensive and there was a lot of traffic around dinner time. Tulum Centro is close (less than 10 min taxi ride) and when you don't feel like venturing too far for food there are plenty of restaurants near the hotel and a 7/11. There's even a small cenote nearby that's cool to visit. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

We recently stayed at The NAAY for 6 nights over New Year's '23-'24 and overall, I had a pleasant experience with a few exceptions. The room was well-designed and comfortable with good a/c and basic amenities. The front desk staff (Alejandro and Omar) were friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel's location was also conveniently located in the Aldea Zama, an upscale dining and shopping area between Tulum and the beach. There are a lot of nice restaurants and shops within walking distance and we felt very safe. It's a new(ish) development with lots of construction in the area and the streets can be difficult to navigate (even with GPS), but it's very doable. The downside of our stay ranges from minor issues to semi-serious problems. 1st and foremost, I was bitten by a bed bug. They have a distinctive bite pattern (3 dots in a triangle). I wanted to rule this out as a possibility, but it's a fact, it happened. Also, we were in the jungle and I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, but it is an issue. 2nd, we requested our room be cleaned on 3 separate occasions and it was cleaned only once during our stay and that was on our final day of the trip. The hot tub was barely warm, shut off at 9p and the bathroom was poorly lit. Once these issues are addressed, I would recommend the NAAY if you're not staying at a resort on the beach. It could be a 4-star hotel with a little more effort and attention to detail, cleanliness, and request response times. 3 stars

This hotel is a really hard to get to/follow directions on a map. It's kind of buried in the center of construction and tourist walkways which makes it difficult for cars to get through. We felt a bit dazed and trapped in the luxury king sized room (the most expensive room, yet has no windows or any source of light). There is no air conditioning inside the hotel itself (apart from the rooms) which can be a frustrating after a long day in the heat. However, staff was super nice and helpful. Room service was pretty average and you're better off eating from the restaurants around the hotel instead of the food in the hotel.

It is a beautiful small hotel. The staff very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast twice at the hotel restaurant and the food was very good. I'll definitively stay there again. Hard to find the hotel, since google maps takes you to streets with no car access. Lots of streets are for pedestrians only.

A Favorite Stay
This is one of my favorite places to stay. The service here is great from the front desk all the way to the rooftop restaurant. I enjoy this place on solo trips and on trips with family and friends. The filtered water here tastes great and it's nice that you don't have to bother with plastic bottles.

This was our second stay at hotel Naay Tulum. Our first stay was five years ago. We were pleasantly surprised to find much of the same staff still working there, and even remembering us after so long. This, added to the fact we were in low season, made our stay very special. The staff was extremely attentive and engaging in genuine conversations (helping us improve our Spanish along the way!). We also found the hotel well maintained, looking just as new as when we first went. We now plan to make it an annual trip.

La propiedad es muy bonita, Ivan de recepcion da un gran servicio, Benito y Henry. Recibe de la gerente del hotel Monica, el peor trato, el sábado ella tenia una fiesta personal, donde había musica a todo volumen, gente, olor a comida desagradable. la razón por la que yo me hospede en este hotel, es porque su alberca es tranquila y agradable, yo le comenté que porque no se nos aviso que los empleados tenían un evento, así hacia yo otro plan, muy grosera me contesto que el restaurante y la alberca no forman parte del hotel y ella podía hacer lo que quisiera. Si es así, seria importante aclararlo cuando se haga la reservación. Gracias

Efectivamente hubo un evento de 12 a 4 pm, el cual no limito el servicio del restaurante/barra, así como de la piscina. Por lo cual y al no haber limitaciones con los servicios, no se mandaron cartas y/o informo sobre dicho evento. La música se encontraba a un volumen regular, ya que siempre esta disponible durante los horarios de funcionamiento del restaurante y la comida que usted menciona, fue una parrilada de solo hamburguesas durante dicho horario.Nuevamente lamentamos los inconvenientes. Much of aldea zama is under construction but it was still such a cute area with lots of restaurants nearby and I can’t wait to see what it looks like completely developed

The breakfast was very limited . Only tea/coffee, fruit and toast served . One of the front desk agents was not attentive and ready to help. Stay overall was okay .

Excelente hotel!
Las habitaciones y las instalaciones están maravillosas, el trato fue increíble, la piscina hermosa, la comida riquísima. Lo único es que para llegar hay algunas calles que están cerradas y tardamos en encontrar la ruta para llegar bien.

The property was beautifully kept and nicely decorated. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive and helpful. We enjoyed many margaritas and morning coffees on the rooftop. We also rented bikes from the hotel to get to the beach and enjoyed walking the neighborhood. We felt very safe and well looked after. We will definitely be back!

The stuff was great, room is nice, i just didn’t like the drink water and the shower water is salty. The property is in a isolated place little bit scary to drive around in night
