'My husband and I visited for our anniversary. The cabin is lovely - beautifully renovated, thoughtfully outfitted, and situated in a lovely forested setting. The king-sized bed was the most comfortable bed that I have slept on away from home. The hot tub uses a saltwater system which is so much more pleasant than the usual chlorine/bromine systems found in most hot tubs...easier on the skin and respiratory system. We were very pleased with our experience and definitely plan to return to this...

'We had a great time staying at this little cabin. It was very nice for our short anniversary trip. We arrived on a Monday evening and had a very easy time getting in. When you get there the first thing you notice is that this cabin is really, really in the woods. It was so nice and that was what I was looking for when I booked. 'Loved this cute little basement apartment for our stay at Harpers Ferry! Parking was a little tight but at least there was parking. The room still smelled new and beds were so comfortable! Only issue was the upstairs neighbors decided to run their water starting at 5:45am and the water pipes were very noisy in the basement! It woke both me and my friend up… we tried to fall back asleep but gave up by 7 when it was clear they were not turning it off anytime soon. Other than that it was great! '

'As a teacher, I needed something to look forward to for the end of my school year. This year I decided that a week away from the routines of my day-to-day life were in order; I've had an in-progress bit of writing collecting digital dust for longer than I'd like to admit.What I needed? Fresh air, a quiet property, and a natural setting in which I could take short strolls. Spotting wildlife, especially the local birds, in their natural habit would definitely be a plus! Anything to get my writing...

'This property was really lovely. Not too far from town and its shops and restaurants, but very private at the cabin. My partner and I were looking to get out of the city and away from people for a few ways, and this was perfect! The bed is comfortable, the kitchen well outfitted, and the out door spaces (hot tub, porch and fire pit) were very nice. The host provided all the information we needed to have a successful trip.'

'It was a great stay. No complaints! Great communication with the hosts before and during our stay. Very clean and just like the photos. The only comments not entirely positive (but worth noting because it was one of my deciding factors in booking this property) is that the hot tub was not clean enough for us to be comfortable using (it is in the woods and may have been pollen coming through the screens—but it was covered) and I think one of the queen sized mattresses does need to be replaced in...

'We had a fabulous time here! This was a great location. Not only was it close to historic sites, downtown Harper’s Ferry, but we also thoroughly enjoyed the river (as did our dog!). While this is a back unit to the host's home, they were were hospitable, friendly, made an effort to give us privacy and allowed us full use of all the amenities. We were concerned about privacy, but had no issues and would absolutely recommend this place. It was also a great neighborhood for our dog to walk/run...

'We had a group of friends come and get together to celebrate a birthday, and this was the perfect spot. Very peaceful and quiet. Loved having the kayaks and campfire. And Tony was very responsive.'

'99% positive things to say about this place. The views, the kitchen, the beautiful room facing down the mountain was our favorite room to do things.The mattresses are a little too forgiving. We prefer stiffer mattresses than were provided. And the drive up, if not used to driving up a mountain, was a bit terrifying the first time. But you get used to it. Sort of.Enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we decide to spend time in the area again.'
